Should be great then! It will be interesting to see how the queue fits into the building as there cannot be much room as they have to have the ride it self and the maintenance area.

Thats good then because it would be terrible if everyone was queuing out of the entrance, as it would block access when cutting through to either Terminator or The Mummy
I forget, but didn't you say Megatron was going to be part of the queue inside??? like a statue or stand up prop?
There's a huge megatron model right at the end of the attraction, that's probably what he was referring to.

I have a question.... I was disappointed by a couple of show elements in the Hollywood version of TF.... in one scene there is a fire ball shot at you (similar to when the green goblin does in spidey) however the effect in hollywood didn't use real fire... it used smoke and red/orange lights where spidey uses real fire....
there was also a section where the out side "city" is visible but is actually quite clearly just a flat picture on the wall of a city... it felt lazy and rushed to me
will the Orlando version of this use the same smoke and lights effect or an actual fire effect and will the city view be the same "poster" on the wall of a city?

^ Green is Universal. All new attractions are likely to not have any real fire effects. Mummy was the last.
Oh god:doh:. I understand saving the environment but fake fire looks so cheesy and cheap. I'd rather them use real fire or just not have a scene that requires an effect like that.
If that is the case that's extremely disappointing to hear. I'm not saying fire effects are what make a ride great, but it definitely adds to the experience. I'm not for Green is Universal if it means taking away show effects. What would Twister's finale be like without fire effects?
That's not good, at least for me! I wish they would just say when it would open, it would really suck if it didn't open when I go.
I'm going to head to Universal on April 13th. Transformers better be having soft openings then!!! :fist:
Nothing you can do so I wouldn't get my hopes up, and it sucks, I know, we missed Verbolten by a couple of weeks last year.
A bit late in the game, but Universal filed something with SFWMD for a building related to Project 609 to be located between Mel's and Shrek (where the Transformers characters currently get ready for m&g's.)

I think that would be ideal for for a meet and greet location. Inside will ease guests a little since the summer days in florida can be very hot and humid.
Nice find! Universal shows no sign of slowing down! I hope they keep this up, improving the whole resort, and keep rolling out the theming, too! :thumbs:
