I don't disagree at all. 2007 - 2016 was a pretty uninspired period in WDW.

There's like, two rows per car of regular seating per train. These ride vehicles were designed for Shanghai-sized guests. So are we expecting fat friendly seating or nah?
I hope they modified the seats. Shanghai size isn't gonna get it.There's like, two rows per car of regular seating per train. These ride vehicles were designed for Shanghai-sized guests.
If they dump half the queue at the test seats the capacity might work out.I hope they modified the seats. Shanghai size isn't gonna get it.
Joe is like the DDT - cruel but fair.If they dump half the queue at the test seats the capacity might work out.

Shanghai is the bigger version of this ride system’s seats. Unfortunately, that means they won’t be getting any bigger, but larger guests will still be able to use the last row’s traditional seats on some trains.I hope they modified the seats. Shanghai size isn't gonna get it.
Yeah, it's gonna be tight. I kinda wish they would've taken this time and redone the Space Mountain gift shop. Basically knocked the walls out on the side near the Tron walkway and made the gift shop smaller to make the pathway bigger. So having been down here yesterday, the building/show building is nowhere near as intrusive as I thought it would be. I can imagine if you're over in Storybook Circus and the walking path you can spot it, but from inside Tomorrowland it's pretty well hidden behind Space Mountain and the gift shop.
Though man, that's gonna' be a tiny pathway to Tron!

Lockers possibly? Although the costar doesn't go upside-down, so there could be a side pouch on Ride Vehicles I guess to stow things. Anyone know how it's done in Shanghai? What's the plan for people with bags while riding?

Looking into it the other day, I found this video:
If you skip to about 1min 20secs, the train has a little pouch for some storage but it won't hold a bag.
Magic bands would be perfect for a locker system. I can't think of any rides at Disney that currently use lockers but I could easily be wrong.
TRON will have lockers. Shanghai uses the same locker system as Kali (same as Seaworld’s w/ kicks and codes) so I’m expecting that to be the system we end up with (although RFID enabled lockers would be best case scenario).Kali River Rapids is the only ride at WDW that even offers lockers as an option (although not required).
That is sunset on the lattice right? It is all white?just a couple of pictures I took the other dayView attachment 13703View attachment 13704
