IMO, anything over $40 for an event like this ($50 max) would be kind of ridiculous.

I'm guessing $40-$60.

Maybe if we all pay for a imaginary VIP ticket, the funds will go to restoring JAWS dock & reactivating Collapsing Bridge

It honestly me a while to realize all these events would be happening co-currently. I thought one weekend would be all Star Trek, then a separate weekend would be all D&D, etc.

It didn't even dawn on me for a while that it was all happening at the same time. And in that regard, it's sounding like it's a bit too much going on at the same time to me

I actually wouldn't mind this, but specific weekends would so totally sell out way faster than others lol

Give me that 3-day weekend Anime ticket!

Yeah this is the same exact thought process I went through. It seems like they’re going for a Comic-Con sorta thing, just, without most of the CC stuff included.

I get what you’re saying, but, I mean, is it any different than how much is featured at HHN at the same time? It’s better to have it all happen at the same time. Cheaper on the installs, since you don’t have to change things for each mini-event, and you attract a larger crowd (people who may only be going to see one or two of the IPs featured and some that want to see all of them). Honestly, the more to do at the event adds value to a separate ticket deal.

60-90 is where I’m guessing FFN will be for a first year. Think they need to get people hooked on the potential of the concept, and I think there’s more context that we don’t know yet for how certain things will be handled.

I mean, we will just see

I assumed similar pricing to HHN

I wonder more what the VIP and express passes cost and will they be needed?

Also do the Top AP's get a free day like HHN or no everyone pays?

Right now we don't have much to go on but....hopefully one or two walk through attractions with photo stops at the end?
A show for Dreamworks and a show for WoW
Maybe a castle show?

But this event is still too far out and doubt we get real details until next year, that helps let people know if they need to fly in for this or not.

We'll have event details by December. They'll continue to drop little things, but holiday offerings (or lack thereof) will be the big focus closer to HHN ending (so within 2-3 weeks).

Then come November/December this event will be their big marketing.

Honestly I'm just content now after the anime announcement. If it was kpop, they'd have direct access to my bank account.

I think it's also important to remember that this is their first attempt at something like this. They might be throwing everything in at once as a way to hedge their bets and make sure attendance is high enough to justify the cost of licensing the various IP. Guest feedback and turnout is going to have a lot of influence on if and how this event continues in the future. I think we could easily see more discrete FFN next year if they see the market is there for it and they feel they can earn their money back. Maybe not a whole event dedicated to one IP, but putting similar IP together for themed nights, like two weeks of Anime then two weeks of Sci-fi, etc.

I don’t think I agree with that. I think there is more sense to have a counter-HHN to allow you an ability to have market interest for a period of time that usually wouldn’t get the audience interest.

Having it be like this could allow a perpetual flow of ensuring there is local attention:
Winter - Off Season/New Attraction opening (SNW did this—the rumored delay of F&F could prime things close to this, it might make sense if the trend continues)
Spring - FFN (springtime HHN, directly cuts into Scream Break from SFMM in net retention)
Summer - Wildcard (they should bring back the Top Chef event)
Fall - HHN
Holidays - Holidays @ USH
______

I also think it’s possible that we see Orlando hop in beginning in 2026, as by that point they won’t have to directly worry on having to prioritize in EU.

Potter & especially anime won't have any issue with pulling in the masses. (Minus the obvious "no weapons", i do wonder what level of cosplay they'll allow if any)

D&D & Star Trek have pull as well, but it's hard to gage what these will offer other than the glorified Enterprise set photo-op.

BTTF is just the existing Universal IP. Maybe they'll get a DJ & have an "Enchantment Under The Sea Dance" party. Or go really out there & do a Hill Valley 1885 Hoedown

I actually think BTTF might pull in more people than we realize. Especially if they use Courthouse Square to its fullest and try to replicate the feeling of the film.

Hell, bring in the originally rumored experience that was brought up in 2015, where it would’ve recreated the clock tower scene. I think people would be excited on that.

It’s definitely going to be more than 50$

The park hasn’t sold tickets for any event that low since HHN 2010 haha!

It has been mentioned on this forum that USF is now basically the Epcot of UOR, where it hasn't really gotten a lot of love in terms of actual new attractions, but is propped up by festivals. A FFN for USF could do wonders for keeping that park afloat while it holds out for actual substantial new attractions as everyone flocks to EU.

Ah yes... the old nighttime studio tour gimmick we never got. Probably didn't want to risk burning down courthouse square again (that area still has ptsd after 2008)

I still say we need to keep our expectations in check with this event staying within the park itself & maybe a nearby SS or two.

I doubt we'll get extra Tram related stuff though. Especially a high profile filming location like Courthouse Square

I could see Orlando doing FFN in May and June. Before the streets start getting decorated for HHN. Though, I do like to enjoy the park when there's no event going on. FFN would shrink the ability to do so.

Orlando already has Mardi Gras. Let us have this for our coast!

Sharing is only caring if it's from Japan/Singapore/Beijing!
