I think we will--DND and the material WOTC has brings a lot of potential to the table in creatures. Also helps that we are also spending the money and capital also on other puppetry/creature tech this year with the inclusion of the magical creatures.

Also helps in the context of what has been described, that there isn't really a *practical way* to do Xanathar as a costume--given the type of creature he is.

I'd have a joke post to dillute (it would've been funny), but One Piece's YT is now marketing FFN properly (but the wording they describe it is as if it's going to be...a Scarezone based with One Piece?).

I think it’s going to be like an area, probably themed to one piece.

Either way, once they reveal more we will get a sense of the price point and type of activities we will see

Go back and look at the initial announcement for OnePiece. They specifically state "Meet Luffy & the rest of the Straw Hat Crew".

The term "performers" doesn't mean show & the description literally states "strolling character role". They're the same as Lucy, Frankie/Bride, Doc Brown, Beetlejuice etc..

Yeah, I was re reading it and say strolling charaters

I'm hoping we are getting more shows then something in Dreamworks.

I know many people are missing the entertainment that Universal used to provide, so hoping this event allows them to have more then one extra show

I'm just curious about HHN construction. No matter which space this event utilizes, it'll be one of the last house locations to go up.

I’d wager to keep an eye out for Action Horizons if a show is happening. If it is, that will be the place to look at in the terms of if One Piece will be getting a version of the USJ show.

I'm not expecting a show due to obvious reasons of the IP itself. Also pretty sure they would've vaguely mentioned "see the straw hat crew in action" rather than just "meet them".

Outside of a meet-n-greet, I'm more interested in the themed food/drinks..

I'm more concerned about them completely "white washing" the casting since it didn’t specify ethnicity like they usually do for character roles. Netflix got it right, hopefully USH doesn't disappoint

i miss when theme parks cared….like I get it the parks are the “best” they’ve ever been but the lack of imagination, want to entertain the guest and heart/personally make it feel like robot is making everything

People used to travel around the world to Disneyland not just because of the amazing cast, which are the best thing about Disneyland, Six flags and universal now but the last the experience of these parks were top class and full of personality and love

I just miss that, we get peaks of it here and there from HHN but this is the entertainment capital of LA and they just seem to not want to make shows any more

Like remember Spider-Man rocks? And even the feature show…they were flawed (especially creatures) but you could tell the team behind them were basically given everything they wanted to make the best experience.
Terminator’s downgrade to minions is another example of personality being lost from the park

Probably the park's biggest entertainment highlight besides Waterworld is the absolutely fantastic streetmosphere. There are a ton of character actors constantly roaming the front of the park, and every interaction I've had with them has been absolutely wonderful. Even beyond the IP characters, there's so many random street citizens wandering around with a lot to say and do, including the construction workers they've added near the coaster. While I am very excited for Orlando's new additions, the entertainment cuts to the existing parks have hurt their charm and atmosphere in a lot of ways. I am glad it still remains an important staple of the park over in Hollywood.

But your missing the point

CM/Tms have anyways been amazing band still are the passion behind the park. We lost the element of live shows which made the parks special and different and for many worth the price if admission. Alone

Anyway I hope we get a live show and if not a big one I hope some street shows then like the Wicked experience in Singapore.
