Glad there’s a few walkthrough attractions. Not a huge Star Trek or DnD fan, but I am VERY curious to experience those. The BTTF stuff is what I am most interested in, but have a feeling it’ll be too much explore and not enough show. My level of immersion is not the best when it comes to those things lol.
Unfortunately, everything else sounds meh. Wizarding and Nintendo are unfortunately what we assumed and just extra adds on to the already existing area, pretty low effort, but perhaps very enticing to someone who has never been to USH before. It’s 50/50 for me. I think this is a “wait and see how reviews are” kind of situation as of right now. I am definitely avoiding the eventual headache opening weekend will be. If this is another “you NEED Express to be even to mildly enjoy this,” then that would count me out, but again, need to see the spoilers from opening weekend, or possibly even first several weekends.
Other major pluses is the fact it is open late (2am), which definitely gives it the HHN vibe. Making it seem more like a party might help. Could be fun just to go with friends and drink when it gets closer to summer. Also the price point is pretty decent. Love that ALL the rides (aside from Studio Tour) are open, even Despicable Me and Pets. Making the event family friendly will definitely be a strange mix with children hanging around at 1:30am.
As of now, without knowing any further details, I wish they explained what their goal is for atmosphere. Obviously other than One Piece, there aren’t any “zones,” but even if it was just projections and music of different properties in different spots, it’d help the vibe. Maybe I'm thinking too far ahead and just need to wait and see, my biggest hope is they’ve just thought all these aspects out.
