Untitled Jordan Peele Movie (2026)

I freaking love Jordan Peele.

I wonder if this is the same one that was previously slated for a late 2025 release or if he pivoted and this is a new concept? I know there were few details about that project, but I have been dying to know more about his next movie after he made my favorite movie of the decade so far.

Personal theory is that this'll be a slightly more family-friendly horror film (hence the original Christmas date), centered on Gargoyles. He was gonna do Gargoyles at Disney until they got cold feet.

The Gothic font would seem to suggest this as well.

I trust that he’s taking his time to make something he thinks is worthy of being released. I trust him.

Disney is very focused on safe things

They want a director who will play it safe and listen to them

Which is also why many MCU projects have sucked recently

It wasn’t my cup of tea. Plot armor galore for the main characters, a message too on the nose about classism with…. An Upper middle class family as the centralized victims? Really? The twist serves no purpose. It was a very pretentious endeavor from Peele, in my opinion.

I could've sworn rumors originally put Peele's movie to be a family horror film about Gargoyles out of all things.
