The only good thing here is at least the quality and value of the park is improving each year in line with price increases.
That's not to say there isn't more to do!

Errr....I just don't see the value compared to even DCA.

Even with Nintendoland we have ten rides, one 3D show and 3 live action shows. Its fun for APs like me to drop by but to me until maybe the olymics the park isn't where it should be. It's better than before but think they keep just trading attractions and heck the one AP just went down in price because im assuimg most people felt they didnt need it

That's awesome! I previously mentioned that it seemed the passes had less weekend days than compared to when I had it back in 2018. Hope it stays that way or opens up more when SNW opens, but I doubt it since demand will be insane by then.

I bought a Gold one when they went on sale in April and my days were increased! Previously I had a bunch of blackouts during the summer.

Annual Pass Prices just increased.

Platinum: up $80 to $539 at the gate and the Universal Express feature is now restricted to after 3pm.

Gold up $30 to $289 at the gate.

Silver up $10 to $209 at the gate

California Neighbor Pass remains $169 at the gate.

All passes receive a $10 discount when purchased online.

The after 3pm is a huge blow to platinum passes now. Should've made them $650+ but with the same express benefit as the old one.

Just renewed Platnum and After 3 express sucks. It is so busy in the afternoon express backs up. Waited 30 min for JW as express was out past the JW gate. Maybe the just wanted to not sell platinum anymore and this will push more people to Gold.

USH is now selling Universal Express by itself online.

Could this be the pattern for selling Express at HHN going forward?

God

I hope so

Also this definitely increases the chances of my trying an express pass in the next year at USH as well

If you really want to get express and you have a FFP, would be nice just to have express

Looks like USH is now offering a "cheaper" alternative to the higher priced Universal Express with a new "Select" tier that ranges between $35-45 (12-15 per attraction). Only redeemable at Jurassic World, Studio Tour and Waterworld.

Will be interesting to monitor this as it seems like it's a "better value" version of Disney's individual lightning lane with selling combos instead of individual selections?

Interesting. That’s essentially how Universal Studios Japan handles their express — in pre-configured bundles.

If they do expand this throughout the park (and Orlando?), I hope it's less confusing than USJ's current setup. (For those that haven't seen it, it's all over the place).

I can see a scenario where Orlando features something like "Jurassic Express" with 1-time use at Velocicoaster, River Adventure and Skull Island, etc.

For someone in the summer or Christmas this makes sense

But also...if It was me I'd just do EA for cheaper and then hit Jurassic, Mummy and the lower lot when the parks open and have more then enough time to hit the tram and SLOP before they get lines....but for tourist I could see this being an easy sell because its "cheap"

So like EA before it, i think this will become the new normal

I’ve seen how USJ does their express and it looks awful. Hope that doesn’t become a thing over here
