Episode 1+ 2 of PLUR1BUS is finally out!
- The clinical breakdown of Ground Zero with the initial rat bite, to the smearing of the tongue on the donuts was a genuinely fantastic slow-burn. The tension as you watch the mutated disease spread from oral interaction, alongside the synchroniousation of the facility researchers and security as they all begin to cognitively become as one is eerie and incredible. Very "Invasion of The Body Snatchers" feeling in tonal whiplash
- The level of one-takes with the initial "X" moment when the biohazard effects the planet, from Carol tending to her partner/lover who passed, to the spasming and jittered nature of the patrons is fantastic. When Carol got to the hospital and the baby holder being shaken the way it was, made me genuinely wonder if a baby was going to die inheritedly immediately in Episode 1.
- I appreciate the fact that they didn't go "Last Woman On Earth" immediately, and left it open to have more people be open for who we'll see in the ensemble.
- Rhea Seehorn' facial acting as she goes through the range of emotions in processing her partner's death, to the call with "Us" is absolutely incredible.
- Haven't done it yet, but I highly suspect the phone numbers are legitimate numbers that we can call like what Vince and the team did with BCS, but there feels like an inherited "Liveness" with the world that I genuinely appreciate.

Gonna watch Episode 2 tonight, but one of the best pilots on TV.
