Mike, check Amazon and Adorama. Both have pretty good prices, and are reliable retailers.

I forgot to mention, in the next few days, I should be receiving my new Canon EF 75-300mm F/4-5.6 III USM Autofocus Telephoto Zoom Lens pus goodies and a new camera bag!

Hey Mike, I'm looking at extra batteries and I remember you mentioned you got an off-brand that works really well for yours. Could you toss up the Amazon link for that? Thanks!

Cheap charger I bought and works great. The little clip that holds the battery in when charging vertical fell off so i just charge it horizontal on a power strip and works perfect. For the price I couldn't really complain.

I ended up buying two different batteries just in case one was garbage and didnt work and both are kicking it still. They both last just as long as the SOny battery while shooting. Can't vouch for how long they hold a charge just sitting around not used since I charge before I know im going shooting. Sure beats spending $50 on a Sony battery that's for sure

Mike, what's the model number of the battery you need? I might be able to help you out.

Yep, that's one of the ones I've been looking at. I've read a lot of mixed reviews, but for as cheap as it is, I figure its whatever. Looks like the battery for the newer Alphas are different, which is a slight bummer.

I prefer the genuine Sony's, I have had both good and bad luck with knock offs, I get them on ebay for about $13

I just bough a 32 GB Micro SD Card and the Camera Zoom FX app for my Droid Razr Maxx. It may be an 8 MP update, but I'll be able to upload on the fly in June

Just got a GoPro Hero 3 Black. All I've done so far is a take it airboating through the Everglades. It was pretty cool, got some footage of a 14footer so that was neat. To The quality is tops and I am itching to take it down Slash Mountain and through Popeye.

Here is where my craftiness, what if i have a large enough tshirt, cut a hole in the middle where the camera would go and put in on with the camera under the shirt? Not that im going to do this, but its just my thought process on if it would be possible to do.

First step would be for me to go and actually buy a Gopro  Sadly I want a new DSLR first so that takes a back seat.

Funny this came up! Ive wanted a GoPro for a while and I've also thought about how to do this at Universal, but I was thinking of wearing it over a t-shirt and under a buttoned shirt, and undoing the buttons in the lift hill  I've seen a guy use the chest strapped GoPro for Manta and they had no problem because its secured, but they did yell at a girl who had a Flip with just a wrist band. SeaWorld is way less upright than Uni, so that's why I'd try the stealthy way at Uni  Would be awesome to see the Hogsmeade station progress from Dragons, Fire especially :sneaky:

PS: GoPro has a daily giveaway
