Just finished Last of Us: Part II Remastered for the first time. Incredible! Takes the cake for favorite game thus far.

Just picked up Kingdom Come: Deliverance II and giving it a shot. A little buggy at times but so far so good.

I remember when my brother got the first Last of Us and we stayed up so late as he went through it. It got too late so he finished it the next day but that’s one gaming experience that was just amazing. He never ended up getting Part 2 and i think he and I are both in the same boat as people that just don’t like how “that certain thing” played out. I’ve seen the whole game and have all the context so I know it’s not a lack of “getting it.”

Glad some people enjoy it though *thumbs up* (because we don’t have that emoji as an option for some reason)

Btw now I’ve started Donkey Kong Country Returns HD. Might as well get through it before Epic Universe opens plus I never played it on a console before, only 3DS.

Tried Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 (remake versions) for the first time. Only other Resident Evil games I've played to completion are Resident Evil 4 (remake, fairly recently) and Resident Evil Village.

The writing/acting is what it is, but I gotta say, Resident Evil 2 has some really great stuff. They managed to calibrate the intensity/speed/intelligence of Mr. X/Tyrant just right - enough to be a constant presence and genuinely frightening, but not so omnipresent and unbeatable that becomes an unintentional nuisance.

I'm sensing a theme with these games that they lose a lot of steam/momentum/intrigue when they (literally) descend into the sewers and end up in a Umbrella facility.

Resident Evil 3 was a lot of fun -- I really liked the first region topside in Raccoon City, that felt almost like something out of Bioshock -- but it too quickly gets to sewer stuff, and then you blink and the game's over. A real Child's Play 3 of the franchise.

After getting through Eternal Darkness I just thought to myself how cool it could be if Nintendo partnered with Capcom to let the Resident Evil remake team take a crack at bringing the game to modern standards. It could really be something special I think.

Longtime Resident Evil Fan. Actually currently replaying the second one. I really suggest you try RE:1 Remake (originally for the GameCube). Honestly one of my fave games of all time.

Finished Star Wars Outlaws last week and immediately started Astro Bot.

Outlaws is, actually, a pretty good game. The mechanics are serviceable with a LOT of variability in how you can play. It actually feels very “open-world” in a way many other open-world games don’t.

But the highlight is easily the story. It’s a Star Wars heist movie, nestled on the fringes of “what we do to survive” storytelling pioneered by Andor. And ND-5 is one of the best droid characters in the Star Wars universe.

I know the game released somewhat broken, but it’s fixed and legitimately worth people’s time now.

And Astro Bot is just as good as the hype declares.

I played a little bit of Outlaws last year and I couldn't past the meh cinematic cutscenes. They feel very off. The actual story for the little bit I played seemed fun though. I plan to get back into the game at some point but I want to finish Fallout 4 first

The first act and planet (Toshara) play really slow. Once Jaylin and ND-5 show up, it becomes way more engaging.

About 97 hours into my first playthrough of Persona 5. I’m on 1/12 and am at the start of the third semester Royal content. I only have three nearly finished confidants and all the party members third awakenings left… what a great game. I don’t think I’ll cry when I finish it like I did with P4, but I’m definitely gonna miss it.

I recently got cult of the lamb and this game is as fun as people say it is. It has been on my steam Wishlist for quite some time I only played a little bit of it but I'm looking forward to putting many more hours into this game. I really like the combat mixed with the cult aspects and even the farming seems like it could be great(I haven't got that far into this mechanic yet).

With the news of THPS 3+4 (hopefully!) being dropped next week, I've been re-playing the 1+2 remaster from a few years ago. So much fun.

Just 100% completed Donkey Kong Country Returns HD in “Modern Mode” that gives you an extra hit. Going through Mirror Mode now which I got close to finishing on the 3DS but just couldn’t get over some bosses and levels only having one hit and no Diddy to help with jumps in “Original Mode.” Let’s see if I can get that 200% this time with the extra hit. Next up I’ll go straight to Tropical Freeze’s “Funky Mode” with a new save file. Just like DKCR let’s see if Funky can finally help me get 200% in that game lol.

I've been playing shadow of war I got it since there was a sale on steam for it after warner bros already shut down monolith productions. It is a really fun game, and it also has alot of replayability because of the unique nemesis system it's very fun playing as talion slaying orcs and beheaded them and commanding them to form an army to take down other fortresses. The orc all belongs to different tribes and are very unique. I haven't got to endgame yet but their does seems to be a good number of different builds you can make. This has to be one of the funnest games I ever played and might even be working its way up to one of my favorite games ever. I definitely recommend it.

Has anyone played Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair? It’s on sale right now for $3 and I think it might be up my alley. I’m also interested in the upcoming remake of the first game.

Haven’t played it, but heard it’s great and way better than the 3D game. If you like DKCR you’ll probably like it a lot

It is probably the closest thing out there to the modern DK games. It doesn't quite reach their highs, but it's still a solid game in its own right.

The interesting gimmick is that each level has 2 different versions. Actions you preform in the overworld are able to change the layout of levels in a variety of ways.

191% in Donkey Kong Country Returns HD. I’m pretty much at the point where I stopped in the 3DS version. I focused on completing most levels besides the last 3 bosses, the last 3 temples, and the final Golden Temple level.

Let’s see if I can do it this time.

Haven't passed this point yet but I have moved on to Tropical Freeze. Playing with Funky Kong makes for a fun, breezy, and relaxing second play through.

One last world to beat in Hard Mode, Donkey Kong Island. Even with Funky this can get pretty difficult in certain levels. I commend the people that completed 200% without him :dizzy:
