I feel like it's almost a guarantee, they always keep little references to the past (kong in the mummy) or big ones (BTTF delorean and preshow que video)

Disney already has watered down StarWars to the point of where at least IMO it's become a parody of itself. How many different characters does Disney have to amalgamize with Mickey,Donald,Goofy and the Muppets before other die hard SW fans like myself turn away from WDW?

You're kidding, right? Lucas has been whoring out SW since the start and there isn't a product he won't slap the license on as long as the price is right. Lucasfilm had to approve all of the cross-licensed products Disney sells, so he obviously Lucas saw no damage to the SW brand by allowing Duck Maul; just dollar signs. I witnessed plenty of die-hard fans standing in hr+ lines to snatch up the new Disney and Muppet series at CVI back in August, so I think your opinion is in the minority.

That being said, I don't want to see LotR end up at Disney, either. Not because I'm afraid to see Mikey Baggins or Goofey Gandalf running around, but because I don't feel the property fits in the Disney profile (just like Avatar).

My guess is the Amity Lobster Co. sign will be replaced with something San Fransisco related. There is no logical reason to have one new england referance between S.F. and London.

Yep. I saw tons of other places the money could go during my trip. It would give the Jaws fanbois something to pine over, something for me to point and laugh at, and hopefully the money would go to something that is important.
