Great shots!

It's almost a little depressing and weird to see the last picture, the stark difference of the wonderful Universal park to the average area behind the park with roofs of apartment buildings and power lines! Just think of what that area will look like in a few years!

I can't tell from the pictures if they're making progress in closing in the front of the building? It seems like that corner has looked the same for the last week now. Not that I want to lose the vantage point for these sweet pictures, but are they making progress on the walls?

I don't think they have worked on the walls in the front for about a week now. At the pace they have been working on both this and the Transformers project, you would think the exterior shell would be complete by now! I'm in no way saying they are slowing down, just that the shell must not be a priority. I'm sure HTF or someone connected to the projects could expand.

Actually when it comes to Gringotts I'm in the dark on numerous things so if anyone could clue me in that would be great!

:P I just said the same thing on the Transformers thread, but I think maybe they benefit from not closing it up just yet. There's more open space to bring in track and other pieces, plus they can take advantage of the daylight too

Plus, while we have views of the maintenance area and loading area, the area of the building where that "pit" (from the first set of helicopter shots) does not appear to be visible any longer.

There is actually quite a large opening at the bottom of the right wall where I presume they are bringing in track.

Well, that explains the retaining wall permit. Huge change in elevation on the approach to Hogsmeade Station.

To think Reel how most people would never realize just how tall a structure is

Yep

I'm very happy that this ridge will essentially make Sinbad invisible. Should look very impressive.

Does that green thing look like the base of a lighting fixture (sans dolphins) for a certain waterfront?

Amazing pics, Bob! No idea what's happening in at least half of them :)
But I'll be taking another look (or ten) through them to see if I can put the pieces together. Awesome stuff!
