Was backstage today, a few verbal updates/things I saw:
For one, I immediately noticed how freaking massive the footers were for HE. I'm a measly 5'8" and they were maybe a few inches shorter than me. Not to mention they were as wide as they were tall. Definitely no need to worry about the supports not being "supportive" enough. That track ain't goin NOWHERE!
I also saw an addition to Gringotts. Towards the West-end of the building, right by those tall cement block structures I assume are stairwells, they were adding more steel to connect them to the building itself. Explains why they haven't started covering that side of the building. I'm guessing that the structure will be a maintenance bay for the HE trains (?), because it seemed like it would line up perfectly with the train tracks if the HE were to pass through the station (does that make sense?).
Finally, the steel that is currently being put up over the HE station itself was tall. Like, really tall. I'm just surprised at how tall everything is in person. Tall.
Anyways, pictures were obviously a no-go, but some kind soul will hopefully be going up for aeriels soon and will bless us with amazing photographs of what I've described!
