My son was in the hospital, so I have not been posting as much myself. I was at IOA and Studios on Saturday like everyone else. Was wondering what the line of people waiting to get into IOA was all about, now I know it was brighthouse. My company does the shared services for Brighthouse (the owners of both companies are cousins and Brighthouse didn't want to do things like Payroll anymore), wish I had a way to get invited to events like this though. If the owner of Brighthouse is anything like the owner of my company, I can see them sparing no expense for an event like this.

I'm still holding out hope that the facade for the rear portion of King's Cross is St. Pancras Station.

^ weeeeeeell. Did the film really show them leaving St. Pancras or did it show them outside of it? If you do street view, it is completely logical you would park near St. Pancras to cross over to King's Cross.

I believe the film might have used the building because it is pretty and logically and literally across the street, but had no intention of suggesting it was King's. An average commuter could be filmed next to the entrance to King's and yet the angle would show you in front of St. Pancras.

In hindsight, I believe this St. Pancras thing has been taken too literally.

Exactly... if they were parked next to it, then they might end up flying over it... that and maybe Buckingham Palace...

Just because your car is parked at Doubletree does not mean your destination was not Universal Studios, but Doubletree.

Hate (or anyone), can you tell me what we're looking at in this photo? The pieces of steel in the background, are they curved or are they just dipping towards the center? It looks like one giant bay window alcove.

This would be the proposed entrance to Diagon Alley

Behind that, the steel half-highlighted in red.

It starts to dip a bit in the middle, which, to me, makes me think its jutting out like an alcove. It'd be easier to tell looking straight down.

Awesome pics. I'm now curious what the new facades for the Lost Continent game stands will look like when they're converted into storage buildings.
