Correct! If your heading to IOA you will pass through turnstiles at the north station because at that point your officially in IOA's attendance numbers. For those leaving IOA the moment they pass through these turnstiles I mention their on the Studios attendance list. Make sense?

So you won't be able to get on HE at all without a 2 park pass? I kinda liked the Switzerland idea for the ride where you would have to pass through turnstiles on both ends and the ride would be a neutral area. That way people in both parks could ride the ride. But I guess with your "guess" it would solve a few of the logistical problems that would create.

This page more or less confirms a Park-to-Park ticket will be required to ride the Hogwarts Express:
http://universaltravelagents.com/hp.asp

Plus, with a Park-to-Park Ticket, they can ride the Hogwarts™ Express between The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™–Hogsmeade™ in Islands of Adventure and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™–Diagon Alley™ in Universal Studios Florida.

Apologies if that link has already been posted.

So, HTF... because of your good grace, I am able to be with you on much of your well thought out explanation of things. However, the aerial shot has the wall on the dc side running the full length of the loco. That isn't what I see in my "dreamy dreams" (if you know what I mean). Are we to assume that something was changed or modified?

I also had a dream that showed an open expanse. I believe as a cost cutting measure they went with a floor to ceiling wall that will be themed. You really won't be able to see much of it except for between the cars. In fact, this makes a lot of sense to me. But you never know, I may have just interpreted my dreams wrong. After all, I was sleeping.

Or maybe those birds are just going crazy

looks like it....three reasons
1. its just easier to deal with
2. most people have park to park anyway
3. more money with PH option

I definitely understand the need for park to park..but what are the folks with wheelchairs/strollers going to do?

- - - Updated - - -

Maybe they can set up a wheelchair/stroller rental and return booth right near the station? So if you dropped off a wheelchair in IOA your allowed to pick up a wheelchair in Universal. Kind of like a 1 for 1 trade off?

I follow this forum, but maybe I skipped over it. Has it been confirmed that ECV's will not be allowed on the train? Because I feel it could be like the train at Magic Kingdom.. If you have a park rented stroller/ EVC you will leave it at the station and get another one at the next station. If it is your own personal stroller, it must be able to fold up. If you have your own ECV they have a special area for it to sit on the train

^ We have already established that there is a place for people in wheelchairs on the train. It is just strollers that are a no go. I would expect people with "park" strollers will receive a voucher for a stroller at the other end.

Slight correction and clarification: While it is true that there is ADA capacity, it may be that they are transfer seats only (speculation based on said 'dreams'. There is one cabin per car that may or may not have this capacity. There may or may not be storage for wheelchairs, so wheelchairs may be similar to the situation I posted above.

Things change in theme park plans, even after they are "cast in stone", so take this as a once-upon-a-time fact. Example: There was a time they thought simple 3" deep flat screens would do the trick. We now know that the solution is far deeper that 3 inches; 3 feet even.

Several "cost cutting" dreams were squashed and this is one of them. Believe it not Teebs they are worried about noise intrusion though...

Thanks!... are or aren't? If ARE is correct, then they should be. Think of the tall facade and now think of sound reflection. They may have created an echo chamber. Geeez!

Just finally saw this, as I was out last night. Thank you so much for the insight and artwork, HTF!

And you know, practice makes perfect, so keep practicing and making more doodles to perfect your art, man!

Thanks for the link! Had not seen that before. So, this officially says Summer 2014, and we also get to see a bit of new concept art for DA!

Well it looks like this HE station adds more of a thrill to Dragon Challenge, near misses with the walls.

Definitely! Even riding it today unfinished you already get that

I just hope that now they will take this opportunity, since they're already working on theming for the new station, to also add more Forbidden Forest theming and vegetation to the ground area of Dragons, and maybe even to the big sound barrier wall facing Dr. Phillips High.

A little paint on the big "supposed to green" sound barrier wall would be an improvement.

Thanks for the link ParkRumours! It's strange, it feels so exciting seeing this coming from Universal at last, even though everything there is stuff we've known for ages anyway (apart from the almost-confirmation regarding tickets). Just reading "discover an innovative new ride inside the goblin-run Gringotts™ bank" has made my night! I like what they're doing with the "Hogsmeade" and "Diagon Alley" branding for the two areas as well. How exciting.

^ I am thinking that the statement on their marketing page may still only be a "heavy handed" suggestion without caveat. There remains a big difference between "must have" and "with" [a two park pass]. e.g.: The ticket price at the Metropolitan Museum in NYC may be listed as $28, but if you walk in and hand them a dollar, a nickle even, you will get in. The bylaws state, "pay what you wish, but you must pay something".
