Having read the plot, it sounds like a miserable viewing experience and frankly, disgusting. All set here.

I don't feel like I could fully describe my feelings in here about it because it would be too angry to post. too negative.

but it really was one of the worst things I ever saw lol

So I... really enjoyed it... and think it's a better film than the first (which I admittedly do not like). :no_mouth:

thats fair and your last point is important, a lot of people wanted a typical joker comic movie.

Interesting read, but a bit of a stretch trying to blame Bradley Cooper for this not being a hit.

Inside the ‘Joker: Folie à Deux’ Debacle: Todd Phillips ‘Wanted Nothing to Do’ With DC on the $200 Million Misfire

Todd Phillips “wanted nothing to do with DC” during the making of the film and refused to test screen the $200 million comic book sequel.

Yeah, tons of respect for any movie that hates its biggest fans this much tbh.

Not really. The best compliment I can give the film is that it's entertaining and sometimes decent to look at it. That's it lmao

I’ve worked with Larry Sher a few times. Top tier cinematographer, so that’s not surprising that it looks good.

Finally saw it and kinda loved it lol. Todd took Lady Gaga's name and 200m of David Zaslav's money to make a Lars Von Trier riff. Every time it tries to be a more exciting and viscerally satisfying movie, Arthur Fleck runs away from it. The musical parts suck but the comedy works and the ending is a genuinely bleak joke. Genuinely didn't think Todd Phillips - director of Road Trip and The Hangover - had it in him.

"Joker 2 is COP ROCK" is probably the single best endorsement of the movie lol
