Probably not a real competition since they're intended for different audiences....plus Disney and Universal will probably reaching for a different age demographic with these lands. ....I envision Villains being Family rated while Monsters is kind of PG, and almost R in a few respects.

different audiences and different competition but I see it kinda like the Harry Potter area vs Star wars area at Disney and that star wars hotel,
even though the star wars stuff is really cool, a lot of people said that the potter stuff was "better" ?
they are very different experiences and everything, but the comparison still came.

I feel like the villains land will be pretty amazing, and not scary, and more welcoming to all families, it will look beautiful,
but dark universe will be groundbreaking and incredible in immersion and atmosphere.

Villains Land might be pretty cool if they really make all the right choices. But after how hard they fumbled Galaxy’s Edge and Avengers Campus, which should have been easy Potter competitors, I question Disney’s ability to do a good concept justice.

It's as they say, the Dragon in Diagon Alley ran so the Burning Blade could Usain Bolt.

But yeah, that looks absolutely killer. Should be interesting to see how the daytime ignition looks as it'll be using different fuels to make it visible, but I think they're off to a great start with the nighttime version!
