I didn't think UFF with Express was that coveted as it was >$1K, but the FFP and FFP+ were the most coveted. ROF was upgradable, as it was the only pass that included Saturday, besides UFF. That was 2024, I was hoping 2025 was similar, thereby this year too, so I didn't have to worry about it so much.

IIRC, UFF with express sold out in 4 minutes, then FFP+ after 15 mins. Not sure about ROF being upgraded to FFP+ w/ express or UFF w/ express.

I'm thinking most dates are safe except the peak dates (opening weekend, premium scream night(s), Columbus weekend, and Halloween (on a saturday this year).

Of course, the longer you wait the higher the ticket prices creep up. As of this morning, some dates in October are already $1 more expensive than last week's prices.

I remember one year thinking Halloween on a Saturday would lead to huge crowds and... it didn't. I think the ability for people to go out to a party on Halloween itself (being on a Saturday) is a big draw for people, though that may have changed in recent years.

Normally Halloween (week days) isn't busy, however with it being on a Saturday, and it's the last weekend of the season I anticipate that Saturday to fully sell out (single night admissions and express/RIP tours) by the time Oct 30th arrives. If anyone wants to go that Saturday, the sooner you purchase your tickets the better.

Unfortunately with the uncertainty of the multi night passes in the air I just can’t pull the trigger on single nights until I have a definite answer of if I got them or not, even with the slow increase they will go through.

If you're going to try to go for the higher-tiered passes with express (FFP+ or UFF), good luck. I wouldn't count on getting one of those as they will nearly sell out instantly.

The multi-night tickets without express won't sell out instantly, so no worries there.

You’ll have till July for those.

It’s not over till the fat lady sings, but I wouldn’t hold my breath for fear passes with express this year.

I heard that Universal wasn't going to offer fear passes with express last year but changed their minds at the last minute, offering just a token amount (capped at 500 passes for the higher tiers).

I'm firmly in the camp that if you're a local (Orlando/Tampa native) and plan on visiting HHN multiple nights during the season - you don't need frequent fear passes with express. And if you want to skip the line, pony up the $$$ and buy an express pass for the night you want to use it. This will ultimately help reduce the wait times in the standby queues in the long run by disincentivizing locals clogging up the express lines with frequent fear passes with express.

For the longest time Halloween night was slow because (1) people have kids who want to trick or treat and (2) if you're a singleton in your 20s or 30s, every bar in town is offering a party, usually with a high-value prize to encourage risqué costumes.
With the shift of the event toward adolescents/teens (roughly since Stranger Things arrived), Halloween night is much more crowded, with kids too old to trick or treat and too young to drink.

I've heard this went down to the wire last year, and I understand UOR's reasoning. But UFF+X alone is basically a cool half million in "free" revenue. And any change threatens to alienate the whales already upset they can't buy their way into Epic after a year. I could see the 2 pm house openings as some sort of balancing, but I'm not sure the the hard-core fans will agree.

I'm not local, so no fear passes with express will have me cancel my 2nd trip down and on-site hotel reservations. I've used express too long to make multiple flights down without it. Especially when my 2nd trip is usually a solo one. If cancelling multi with Express they really need to come up with 5 day & 10 day options for non locals.

I’m sorry but if you’re going more than 3 days in a season (break even point for multi night ticket), you don’t need express. That’s a luxury that Universal should (rightfully) charge for the guests that don’t want to wait in standby.

Let's agree to disagree on this one. I'm with Capt. We also travel for this event - coming down four weekends. However, we only do two nights per weekend with rare exceptions. I can do a lot of walking without issue. I mean, I walk the dog 4 miles per day. That being said, HHN is a way different animal because the walking on average is 6-8 miles per night. I can't do that for consecutive nights anymore. I also can't just stand for hours in lines as it absolutely wrecks my body. So, express is an absolute must for us (my group is all around the same age with same issues).

There are more reasons people need express than just skipping the line. Stating "if you go more than 3 days in a season, you don't need express" is presumptuous and ridiculous.

I'm not going to get sucked into the whole "they aren't doing multi-night passes with express" thing again this year. I made myself absolutely insane over last year for no good damn reason. Uni is a BUSINESS and express is absolutely gravy for them. I find it very difficult to believe they would remove express from any pass it's already been attached to for decades. IF they happen to do that - I will not travel for this event like I have for the last 21 years.

Yeah, I also travel 4-5 times for the event and would probably only come one weekend if I couldn't get a FFP+Express.

Well the direction Universal seems to be heading towards also disagrees with you.

Hot take, the luxury of going to HHN multiple nights is a privilege. Not a right. I’m 10000% happy that Universal will eventually (if not this year) eliminate multi-night seasonal passes with express.

There are people who don’t have an annual pass for parking, never do 9-10 houses a night, and don’t want to pay for single-night express because the quality of your run through a house can - frankly - vary quite a bit. Now that I’m no longer local, there’s no chance I’d roll the dice on planning to go on a single night ticket unless I’m piggybacking on a private tour or with an exec.

While I was still local, Universal quit offering an HHN ticket product or combination of products that either my friend group or I had any interest in. HHN will be just fine either way, but there’s definitely a market for UFF + Express that’s a hard nope on the whole event if it isn’t offered.

You're a big insider, are ya? Whatever. I seriously, seriously doubt you understand what Universal agrees or disagrees with.

Hot take: No one claimed this to be a "privilege" - we pay out the ASS for those passes. I'd be 10000% happy if they priced more people out of it and just kept it going. That would be the more likely scenario for a business. But keep talking. Or maybe just don't - we could all do without the smug, self-righteous bs.

Everyone can have their own take, but what I find really Hot is calling HHN a "Privilege" It's entertainment, and if the value of the entertainment decreases then I just reduce my attendance. There is no right and absolutely no Privilege!

That’s why I said more than 3 nights. Plenty of time to see all the houses, zones, shows, food, AND time to repeat a house favorite or redo if the initial run wasn’t that good.

Going through a house more than twice is excessive.

It’s absolutely a privilege to be able to attend more than one night of HHN. Not everyone 1). Lives close by to attend multiple nights. 2). Afford to spend multiple nights (out of town, locals on a lower budget, ect). 3). Get the opportunity to experience houses again.

It’s entertainment, but 1000000% a privilege to do it over and over and over, for those with the multi nights with express paying less per night that a individual with a single night ticket with express per night.
