Hello! Please can someone explain what Fortnitemares potentially means for HHN in terms of characters in a Scare Zone? Would it mean we'd get horror IPs that perhaps haven't been featured in HHN before, or would it be limited to specific ones like Blumhouse etc?

I don't know anything for sure, but my guess is that it will mostly include the original Fortnite characters - but maybe could include characters from Blumhouse like you said. Or other Universal-owned ones!

It will be all originals. No way will it involve other IPs. That’s like Universal giving out the IP rights to Jason last year. There is no way.

I agree re: licensing that in a contract with Fortnite it seems like they would have to go with whatever original Fortnite characters there are as other IPs featured in Fortnite would have their own further contracts/ licensing issues with the original IP owners...I'm not super familiar with Fortnite but my understanding is that people largely it because of the IP characters featured...are there even any original Fortnite horror characters? Whenever I look up Fortnite horror characters its all IPs...

I'm shocked there wasn't much back-and-forth on whether Sergio was considered an "icon" last year. It's ironic that although Universal Creative doesn't consider him as an official icon, and stated that the HHN fans can if they wanted him to be, that he was more fleshed out than Sini3ter & 3urreal were (official icons).

Right, are there any like "iconic" original characters that stand out as unique or interesting? I'm not trying to be a hater, I truly am indifferent to Fortnite, but I'm confused about what the "grab" or appeal is to have it at HHN if it's mostly generic characters mixed in with the IP characters that people would actually want but likely can't have.

assuming the grandfather clock that's upside down is Stranger Things. Do we think this could be solely focused on Season 5, or could they try to make it a compilation of all season for the final hoorah?
My preference would be greatest hits from all seasons because season 5 was too weak for a house imo.
