Gosh, I'm gonna be SO BROKE after visiting all the shops. I've made a shopping list based on the price list given by Inside The Magic, and I've already reached $200 and there are still items with prices unknown (such as Acid Pops, Ice Mice, etc.). Does anybody know more prices?

I was thinking of buying The Quibbler, but apparently it's only a cover, not a full edition. That's a shame.

I guess I have to reconsider what to bring with me, so I could get all that merch back to Europe. :D

By the way, is the Dragon Challenge queue accessible without actually riding the coaster? Can one go through it and then just... leave?

It's been since our helicopter video and pics of Potter since I've posted on here, but I just wanted to let you know (and some of you already do) I spent most of yesterday posting our photos and videos from inside the Wizarding World. I'll eventually link to them all from our site, but for now, you can see all our videos at http://www.youtube.com/attractionsmagazine and our pictures at http://photos.attractionsmagazine.com/Theme-Parks/Islands-of-Adventure/Wizarding-World-of-Harry

But Spoiler Alert: don't check them out of you don't want to see it online before you see it in person. I'll also try to check back here every so often to see if you have any questions. You can also find me on Twitter @attractions and Facebook http://www.facebook.com/attractionsmagazine

It seems that weight is the issue that keeps causing FJ to go down. While they are saying weight is not an issue, it is and it isn't. The ride can handle the weight but it hasn't yet been calibrated to handle the large-ish amount it has recently been asked to. They just have to make some relatively simple adjustments. Then if you can squeeze yourself into the restraints, you're good to go!

Weight may not be the issue...think more towards SIZE. What happens when you try to over stuff a canolli? It eventully breaks open.

Consider a very large human who stuffed themselves into a seat and had their friend SMASH the shoulder restraint down to the first lock...

With the way FJ twists turns and flips, the should restraints could shift a millimeter, literally a millimeter, and fault the ride because someone's restraint is loose.

Ok, I'm honestly thinking about signing up for AAA just for the discount. Yes, I plan on spending that much. Ok, for anyone who can help me with that, if I buy a basic membership with them ($50), would that get me the discount? I can't seem to find any info on benefits other than maps and towing.

Ok, nevermind. I found the benefits page finally. So for $60 *$10 fee for something* if I spend $400 at the wizarding world, it pays for itself. Above that is perks. That's not to mention the other places and events it could save money. I wonder if they can get me a better deal then with Disney.... the wheels are turning!!!

I think they said 15%.

--- Update ---

I've posted a new thread in the United section about souvenirs from all the parks. I hope everyone who goes can contribute to the thread and it become a fun place! :) Especially with Wizarding World stuff.

Same. I'm avoiding the FJ queue videos and any POVs or ride descriptions, but I still wish I hadn't seen the picture of the loading station that was posted a few pages ago without a spoiler warning.

I guess I heard wrong!! I stand corrected. This makes me sooo glad I've slimmed down from being the typical American fat slob to just a little chunky. Broccoli and tofu people!! Oh yeah... steamed not fried!!! There's a good exercise as well. It's called "pushing yourself away from the table"! Not only will you be able to ride FJ, you'll live longer!!

Another busy day is about to begin: http://twitpic.com/1sg98h

If you want to be one of the first people in the package/hotel previews, you're going to have to start pretty early. People were already lined up an hour and a half before the preview began today.

A friend of mine currently in the park has just confirmed one thing we all wanted to know:
(spoilers ahead)

Moaning Myrtle will, indeed, berate you in the bathrooms.

As in the general restrooms in WWOHP? Or is that part of the queue/ride?

General restrooms.
In my friend's words, she "b(expletive) at you while you pee."

From @attractions:
They're saying "no promises the Forbidden Journey ride will open today".

I just don't understand this FJ situation. They're saying the ride is 99% ready but at the same time all three package holder days have had issues.
