I don’t think anybody would lose a job over that. I mean there’s already Testing, so it’s not like they were giving out any information that’s already known.

They 100% could lose their job over this. Recording/filming in the park during non-park hours is grounds for termination.

kinda…. To be perfectly honest, from hearing from people working there the rule is if it’s in guest view it’s fine…. I can see the employee getting a talking to and then universal updating the training lol

If it's at 5am, it's no longer in guest view.

either way, it’s not backstage which is basically what the rule means.

I kind of wonder how much different this discussion would be if someone got footage of it testing from outside the park during an early morning stroll, cause the coaster has that much visibility to be seen from outside of the park.

Daytime testing has been really consistent today, going from when I first arrived at the park in the morning to now.

Although...

The moment these trucks arrived the testing screeched to a halt. Whatever train was out finished and nothing since maybe 10 minutes?

Edit; As of 5:11 pm the ride is back up with ramping up testing!

Maybe it's fire protocol testing or something like that? Don't know if SNW had the same thing like just testing to ensure emergency vehicles could get to where they need to.

Yeah, that's exactly what I'd assume this is. Planned e-stop to test evacuation scenarios in real time.

I was at Epic during previews in line for Monsters and the fire alarm went off and they evacuated the building. Same thing happened at Mario Cart. Ministry wasn't running but they were letting people walk the queue. By the time we got over there it was closed because they had a fire alarm. Apparently I was there on fire alarm testing day.

Just saying, fire alarm/evac procedures is definitely part of the opening process. And I think this is a good sign.

I will say what has somewhat worked out for this coaster is HHN is coming and they have announcements for that now

Like honestly, I don't think about this coaster much besides when I'm here even in the park...I just don't think about it much because it feels so far away

But I think HHN hype will kind of help them on the PR for the coaster for now becacause people will be hyped about HHN construction, argue if Fortnite should be at the event and what the Tram is

There are a lot of people that care more about the coaster than HHN. There are people that exist that aren't into HHN.

Not saying their aren't but USH at least has some distractions from this

I'm just saying its not the worst time for this to happen....if it was like Grinchmas then yeah....its until March with nothing new but right now we are getting HHN stuff to talk about

Also with the Knotts Coaster having issues and Six Flags not building its coaster if your a Coaster fan then you should know this isn't unique, this is just how it is in CA to build coasters right now.

I disagree... even with a lot of restrictions, CA as a whole hasn't had this many construction issues before, especially all at once. All three of these rides (F&F, Monte, unannounced SFMM) are having totally different problems. It's just unfortunate they'll all happening concurrently. It's this aspect that does make it fairly unique. This is why SoCal coaster fans are banning their head against the wall.

Yeah we haven’t had any new coaster in four years. We’re kinda going a little mad.

Could also be because these are all post covid and the people who have been making coasters or were in the industry a long time (like how many people left Disneyland and its now mostly new people working on Fantasmic etc) so could that factor as well

Stardust racers I think also had to go down for awhile I could be wrong but they did it once not related to the accident

Also looking it up Emperor at SD also was delayed a while before opening

So seems their is a trend for coasters right now

I’ve seen billboards for this coaster as far north as Oakland, which I assume were purchased long before they ran into issues. They’re still claiming a summer opening date, so… here’s hoping.
