Your opinions are their own, but it is actually very smooth... Like, the flying scenes are believably fluid. I don't understand how you say it's bumpy, much less "way too" bumpy.

Gotta agree here, considering the work that was done to the ride platforms I found it to be a much smoother experience and far beyond JN, but opinions are welcome whether negative, neutral, or positive.

Also not sure if this has been said but on Universal's Website DM is listed as NOW OPEN. It also states its in technical rehearsal just below. Just thought I would share

Picked up a copy of the Orlando Sentinel at my hotel today, and they ran an ad saying now open.

It wasn't TERRIBLE, maybe jerky was more what I meant, but 1. I had a headache by the end of the ride, and 2. I wasn't that impressed with the ride, so i was probably overstating. But the fact that I came off with a headache should say enough.

And I come off Harry Potter nauseated. Doesn't mean I think they should change a thing.

^This all sounds like a matter of physical sensitivity, then, as UNIrd is pointing out. I come off of the Simpsons Ride with a sore neck, but I do not find myself disliking the ride for that reason.

If you think this ride is rough even when it was neutron you need to get to some more parks, try a Vekoma SLC such as the Lethal Weapon in Australia.

All i'm saying is I never have problems with any rides and I wasn't the only one in my party who mentioned it. And lol, doesn't mean i'm calling for them to fix anything either. I'm just not gonna go on it.

The Universal website says the ride is open and Universal Express is available for this attraction. I thought the ride was opening July 2nd?

For all intents and purposes, it's been open for weeks now. July 2nd is just the big media hoopla with celebrities and swag. And July 2nd is the first day you can officially expect the ride to be open when you walk in USF.

Wow. I'm surprised about the Express capability. I thought for sure that they'd at least wait a few months...

That's the day you want to stay far away from the attraction. LOL

I'll be at the Annual Pass Preview tomorrow morning. PM me if you'll be there (or at the park at opening) and you'd like to say hello. :)

I would kill for a POV of this... I'm not going to make it to the parks for at least another year and there is no way I can hold out that long!

I'm sure once it officially opens down the road you'll find one on youtube. These to channels have just about every POV for rides. I'm sure down the road they will have DM.

Got to ride this yesterday night. What a great ride, just a lot of fun and it really surprised me just how good the story flowed through the attraction. I am not the biggest fan of Despicable Me but the ride really sold itself. A new must ride.

Just throwing this out. It's the second attraction with a banana scent that's ever been at USF.
