And to me, that's the coolest part. The difference between being in a world and just passively passing through.

No doubt it's a cool ride but for the first time I'll admit it was a bit scary for me. (Im 22) so I felt terrified and it was my first time being on a robotic arm. Once I learned that it was not a roller coaster or a regular simulator, I started thinking, "Hmmm I need to go on this ride again". Just to see if I have a different experience this time.

IDK but to me and all my friends it didn't make a good experience for the first time because we didn't read/watch Harry Potter, and we didn't know what was in the castle. Much like how I find some people are pleasantly surprised The Mummy is a roller coaster.

I agree. I rode it for the first time about 8 months after it opened, and I was scared to death. Especially the part where you're by the Whomping Willow and you're completely on your back. I thought it was gonna flip you upside down.:stunned:

Don't remind me. They should have done a better job explaining the type of ride it was. A Wizarding Cast Member told us it was "A simulator". I worked at Universal so I new little if anything about Islands of Adventure attractions as far as details (One of the most amazing things as a team member, you'll never know what happens on the other side unless you have a friend or two working there). Anyhow I did think the props, lighting fixtures, noises, and ride affects were awesome. And knowing more so what to kind of expect , I'll have no problem going again. I remember the lines extending all the way in Jurassic Park near the Churro Stand near the bridge.

I'm hoping Gringots is a bit better being it an actual coaster of sorts rather than a robot arm haha.

I'm always amazed how little people pay attention to signs.

I usually am a silent witness on this forum but seriously can I please suggest you read the Harry Potter books? I didn't read them until I was maybe 25 and decided to give in. I can honestly say it's the best series I ever read. Just my suggestion - I think it will make you really appreciate all the details that went into everything at the park. I was blown away with the WWoHP and I'm going to reread them all before HP2 opens... So excited!! Yea I guess I'm a bit of a nerd at times...

So besides Gringotts and Hogwart Express do we know yet if there is another ride being built for this expansion or just those two?

Nothing in particular, was just wondering if anything else was planned for 2.0. Besides, you can never have enough rides

Hogwarts Express will be an E-ticket experience IIRC, that's two E-tickets plus stores/restaurants.

I wasn't by any means complaining about a lack of anything with this expansion.
