1: So all of this is (according to HTF) opening this summer? Does that include the spinner?
2: What exactly is Duff Gardens? I'm not a huge fan of the show and I Googled it. But what will be at US?

That is the map of the fictional Krustyland theme park that is featured within Simpsons: The Ride. Pictured is a Kang and Kodos spinner attraction. This is, as far as anyone here knows, the fictional equivalent of what will be featured in the upcoming Springfield expansion.

Does that make sense?

This is a detail of this map of Krustyland. It has been hinted at that the forthcoming spinner ride will have tentacles and you ride in small spaceships.
I was just thinking that the might try to make the ride look like the spinner in the map.

I just noticed in the lower lefthand corner of the Krustyland map that a portion of Krustyland is located on top of a parking garage, a la Universal Studios Hollywood.

There's a big green canopy sitting over by the spinner's location, Moe's has color paint now, and Krustyburger has primer on it.

I'm not sure how fragile stained glass is, so maybe we're getting the stained-glass look without it being the real thing? :shrug:
They could paint the glass, or install see-through panels in between an exterior and interior clear window panel, like the one already in place? :shrug:

I do not believe that "real" stained glass would be used as it is fairly fragile. We may get tempered glass pained to imitate stained glass or as you said we may get real stained glass sandwiched between tempered glass.

Tempered glass is usually required in installations like this. Can anyone confirm that the antique style glass in the WWoHP is tempered or any other type of safety glass.

I'm not really digging all the bashing of Screamscape. I come here to check up on things a lot more than I do there but I still think they do a nice job. But I think this site can't be number 1 just by having the best info...we all should also be classy about it.

Well his spies suck because General Changs was in the original plan but was changed to Androids. When I wrote that article I wasn't allowed to speak of such changes. There is also the addition of Jebediah Springfield as well as the cut of a few cars in front of the Kwik E Mart. You would think such spies would have better intel in March than I would in October...

I do not believe that "real" stained glass would be used as it is fairly fragile. We may get tempered glass pained to imitate stained glass or as you said we may get real stained glass sandwiched between tempered glass.

I always figured it was textured Plexiglass or Lexan, which is what I assume Moe's windows will be made from.

By the way, I think the appropriate term is leadlights, not stained glass.
