The new merch cart that was by the Sledge Homer was moved across the street (to the side of the ride building).

I need to start paying more attention.
But, of that particular area, I'm thinking they should build an indoor M&G location there. The fence they're using now looks cheap and chaotic.

A lot of people don't seem to agree that it should be on that list. I'd have to agree.

Ive heard that was something that got drastically cut. The couch was supposed to be a lot more and the characters were going to be involved as well

It is on the park maps, if you mean renaming of the area it doesn't appear to be a priority

Interestingly enough, it still doesn't appear on the website in any form. I wish they would rename it to Springfield.

Yeah, the fact that they haven't renamed it to Springfield I find very annoying- if they're going to go to the effort of making it look and feel like an entirely separate area of the park, they should give it some sort of recognition as something new. If they were to advertise it correctly, they could pass the entire thing off as new, and it would bring in a decent amount of fans of the show...

That's what I'm guessing it is, though it seems like six months after it's been completed they should have already gotten that all sorted out..

There are 22 Springfields. A fictional one shouldn't confuse anyone anymore than people already are about towns by the name.

I think the problem is more about Fox wanting to control this situation down to the last detail and since Fox and Universal are owned by different companies, there are legal troubles that need to be solved with the naming.

^ I don't understand the confusion either. The Mummy is not in The Mummy land, it's in New York. As far as The Simpsons is concerned I see the Springfield name as a great benefit for the people that know, what are the negative effects in regards to people who do not know?

Well It kinda would explain since I would think Homer would see a Tea House as a Horror
