I would've thought it'd take longer than 3 weeks to re-do the show, especially if they were changing the set or any effects.

Beetlejuice's rotating castle/throne chair thing seems to have been converted to some mad scientist-looking DJ station or drum set or something. A light-up console with diagonal yellow and black stripes on the front and weird tube lighting behind it.

Nothing has really been announced. I suppose we'll see when the new show debuts. I'll be there that day. I may record on my iPhone, it's just it's such a loooong time to hold my phone up.

IDK too much about the changes, but it sounds like they're switching out some characters, and an overhaul on the music selections.

This. Hip and Hop gone. Also replaced probably 90% of the actors.

From what I hear it will be an all new concept and style of show. All new music from Classic Rock favorites to make the show more timeless. New effects. Some new Characters and added backup dancers. All new Beetlejuice Jokes.

I think it's high time the show was redone, and I actually look forward to seeing it (or more likely, hearing it all the time), and it looks as though they want it open it time for Mardi Gras, which makes sense.

Less pyro? That was pyro? Goodness, I barely noticed those two or three "pyrotechnic effects"!

Speaking of pyrotechnics, I've read several articles concerning propane shortages/higher propane costs/propane rationing recently due to the winter weather a majority of the country has seen. Has anyone noticed reduced effects on any of the "hot" attractions?

I realize most of Beetlejuice's effects are (were) flash-type pyrotechnics, but the pyro talk just got me thinking about the propane used elsewhere in the parks.

Not to derail the thread...but at the moment Twsiter is closed, Mummy and Spiderman were running full fire effects when I was there last...could potentially be a problem later, but as of now fire is up and running..

IMO this show could go. Kinda of boring except if its raining then its a good hide out.

The cast was practicing last night before the park closed. You could see it from outside without really prying.

That's what I was saying. They're a little unnerving and I don't do well with loud noises. Horror Nights, also, is getting louder by the year.
