Question, will the JP gates move back for skull island? Will skull island get it's own gate?

Possibly.

And are we sure we arent getting anything where the trike encounter was? I feel that they will end up building something on this plot this year so that they can have that area complete at one fell swoop.

If i were creative I'd wait for world to come out. If world makes giant bucks in the box office (more than likely) then we will probably see some of the actual attractions used for worlds and possibly a complete island revamp. But back to kong I hope so, wonder if skull island will be concidered a actual island on the map

No, we dont need to wait for Jurassic World, the reason is because that is land being wasted right in the middle of a valuable IP. there is no reason to wait to decide whether or not to utilize that land. It's there and its going to be used for JP whether they do something with it now, or in 5 years, so why wait?

Btw, I dont want to know anything else about Potter, just see some concept art. Don't want to know everything and would like some surprises!

Sooooo, hopefully someone has juicy info about Kidzone, Kong, JP, new hotel, next citywalk expansion and waterpark coming soon!

Something'll happen in JP eventually. IOA can't maximize their space unless they do  I'm sure an attraction from Jurassic World is probably coming, along with a facelift for the whole island

Still too soon to judge I'm afraid unless they go the river adventure route witch I doubt with how much is on their plate. It'll happen soon enough though

I would hope that the facelift of Jurassic Park would include either diverting the path to go around the Discovery Center along with whatever new attraction is coming (basically making a 90-degree turn at the River Adventure entrance)- which would be entirely possible since the back of Popeye could just be covered up with a themed wall or trees- or covering up the ride building for Forbidden Journey with rockwork, but for whatever reason that seems far too improbable to be worth hoping for :blank:

I was at the park on Sunday. You can see some of the construction from Ripsaw Falls (after the first lift hill). It looks like they are really clearing land for this (I saw the removed trees). There was even a branch that sticks out above the maintenance gate between Toon Lagoon and Jurassic Park (don't know if it's still there). All the walls have gone up now too, extending from the JP gate to Thunder Falls.

There's also a decent enough view of the site by Thunder Fall's exit. You can at least see the dirt, backhoes, etc. There was also a LOT of orange spray markings by the Thunder Falls eating area (in front of the walls), some even on the concrete by the exit, as well as an orange ribbon on a tree.

Now that you said that you have no idea how many people are going to go on ripsaw for a quick peak. It's the new Simpsons queue. I can already imagine the soaked reporters :pound:

 The construction view from Ripsaw isn't exactly "perfect," but it gives a decent enough view of the site. ;)

That'll be good enough for reporters man, they do this for a living so they have nothing to lose...well besides their dignity when they get off the ride looking like drowned rats every week

If I was a local and had good camera equipment I would've gladly taken this challenge. I'm one of the only people that doesn't mind being wet at a theme park. I seriously go on all 3 rides every trip to IOA then walk around the rest of the day like a homeless person who just took a bath at a local playground. I've probably swallowed 2 gallons of that lagoon water and I wish I was kidding

I only wore a poncho on a ride once and it was only because it was freezing that day. Never will I do it again, it took tons of fun out of the ride, the hood will turn and suffocate you when you spin and you look like a walking condom (for lack of a better term) but I don't blame you for using one, could ruin a entire vacation if not prepared

Haha! In totally with you. I always do all three, and most of the time will re-ride Bilge Rat Barges two or three times in a row because hey, you're already soaked right?! :D
