Mercy, the arguments this thread creates due to a lack of information. Remember, there is a massive model of this attraction in one of the soundstages. I believe I told you this before and now I cannot recall which: 22,23,24? It is right next to another model of a very large volcano with surrounding bays and lagoons. One or both of them are built on a 1" to 1' scale. Do the simple math.

Universal has more active funded projects for this resort than Disney has blue sky for WDW. It's not close.

There's also a lot more going into Kong than Transformers. Rock work facades, AAs, interior rock work, and it's not a clone like TF was

A 2016 movie and 2016 animated show on Netflix for Kong. I think that speaks volumes.

I could see them doing something similar to this as an overlay of Rip Saw Falls for Skull Island expansion.

I love this idea!

Rip Saw falls could be so much more, it's a great flume but the rest of ride really hasn't stood up to time well in it's 15 years.

Where are you insiders at with the transport for this attraction? At one point it was vehicles with wheels on the ground and drivers. Is this still true or has it changed. Is each vehicle going to be attached to a track?

I would love to get an update with particulars if any of you can talk about it.

I'm curious as well. It's interesting that portions of this attraction are outdoors, as that makes the entire ride susceptible to weather shutdowns.

Also, considering the ride vehicles will be somewhat exposed to rain, etc., I'm curious how an EMV like the Spider-Man Scoop or the CTX Rover would fare in those conditions. Not well, I assume.

Perhaps just a Test Track style slot car system?

I'm gonna rule out the possibility of a gas-powered vehicle.
