I wouldn't completely rule it out. It seems that most people don't have a lot of concrete information on this project quite yet, unlike Kong and Fallon.

Funny. Problem is, they had no where near solved the problems of computer generated hair in 1993.

This says a lot about Toy Story and why a lot of the toys were what they were. The whole movie is perfectly just a right place, right time moment.

I am not convinced these "recent" change rumors are true everyone, let alone a change to a Gringotts style ride. For "recent" reasons I won't reveal here, I believe the ride system remains the same; a Kong like ride system.

^ If the ride system remains like Kong, then it will be relatively slow.

As its been said; F&F is seeming like how Kong is in its technology (Which, it should be great for everyone that its being used and not just sitting off the shelf for countless years {Looking at you Disney with the Trackless}), so in theory; it could make people happy.

But, as said; F&F will not be fast. But to be honest; it doesn't exactly need to go fast. I get it, some people want to see a fast racing attraction based on F&F; but that's not necessarily how the film series is anymore when you realize it. Its rarely about the racing, but its about being in the middle of intense action that revolves on the cars, around the hand/gun combat, and any other means that the film-makers (or Comcast for that matter) delves to.

Its my personal rant; but I think that F&F will be fine without the speed, as you'll probably have really good wind effects that makes you think that your actually in the city; but I digress.

So just like Transformers which is 100 feet away? This ride has flop written all over it..but it is what it is I guess

At a certain point the perceived movement will become stale

I assure you everyone, I will follow up on this tomorrow. This push with recent change rumors is giving me pause. Goodness, I hate to badger for details... it won't be pretty.

(starts chanting) What do we want? Test Track ride system! When do we want it? At a better pace than Disney, that's for sure!

"It won't be pretty", It'll just be the Good, the Bad & the Ugly...Go get em Teebs. You have Clint Eastwood written all over you. Or do the "Do you feel lucky?" routine.

I don't want that.

I do want it to go fast. But the TT ride system is too restricted

If you love a thrill, rent a car in Orlando and drive i-4 at top speed through the city and theme park areas during construction.

As said perfectly by Skip; the idea of having F&F use the Slot-Car track system in place at RSR and TT would only bring issues to the teams, especially if they would have that track outdoors, the ride would have to close until rain showers, or any other things would be done with.

I am hoping that the speed of the cars is a little faster than what Kongs seeming to be, but I can't expect it going fast as I know a lot of people are hoping.

When I see "Gringotts 2.0", I think enhanced version. I'm not so sure that's the best way to go with the ride, seeing as Mummy and Gringotts are both already fairly similar dark ride coasters and both on the same side of the park.

It would seem too copycat-ish to me, but then again, anything is better than the original things we heard about F&F.

XD I can't stop laughing!!!! Did this guy say "top speed" and "i4" in the same sentence? Here's an idea. Try going down I-4 faster than the posted speed limit. It won't work with that damn traffic. I have to take John Young from North Orlando to the parks because it's faster!!!!

It could be an indoor autopia with foreign cars as vehicles for all I care just not another simulator please. I'm okay with Fallon because anything is better than Twister especially a ride. I don't have any interest in anything Kong related so I'm assuming Kong tech is some sort of simulator .
