Reading that has got me thinking about Mark Ruffalo and the Hulk in Universal. Weirdly it seems Universal and Marvel (The film studios) don't get on but could a deal be made for Ruffalo and some more of the actors from MCU come into the parks in exchange for a movie to be made with a healthy relationship?

That would seem to be a reasonable deal, but then again these are two of the biggest media conglomerates in the world. It doesn't happen that easy.

Also, for Uni to do an Avengers ride (w/ actual MCU cast), that would require paying a lot of money to high profile actors/actresses. They certainly aren't just going to do it because it's a fun idea.

It would sure help with advertising and could help bring in a ton of people. It could be worth it.

It's not as if they haven't done expensive actors before. Also, at most they'd maybe need Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth for an Avengers ride. They could just get an RDJ impersonator for Iron Man, and if Hulk reappears in that ride, they wouldn't really need Mark Rufallo. Those four are the "essentials", and for the rest of the Avengers they could just choose whoever is cheapest.

The resistance I could see from Marvel would be how this could possibly affect actors current contracts. If RDJ has signed a contract for 2 more movies for example, does filimg scenes for a ride, count as a movie?

One can dream.

In my head, I'm imagining a mix between Spider-Man and ToT. Plenty of screenz but I don't care. The icing on the cake would be to have a few hotel rooms at the top of the tower. If Disney can add a room in Cinderella Castle, why not here. The views would be incredible. Look down on the Hulk, Hogwarts castle in the distance, Volcano Bay out the opposite windows.

Yeah, I agree. Any of the actors could make the case that this counts from the movies left on their contract.

You could probably charge $2000 a night and people would pay it. Take it a step further and put a fully working helicopter pad with a pilot to take you directly to MCO.

I wouldn't go for a drop ride however. Just because you're using Stark Tower as the facade doesn't mean the ride has to go in the tower itself.

The problem with the deal with the Hulk film is Universal gets all the money from distributing without having to pay to make it and also get final say on the film cut going to theatre so pretty much Disney does all the work and Universal reaps all the benefits...RUMINT is going around though to get around it, a Planet Hulk film could be made however even that is a grey area as the question is does Universal has just character rights for the Hulk or all the encompassing Hulk film rights minus Avengers.

You don't have to but you'd be removing a drop tower type attraction and there is only about 2 acres there, so you've got roughly the same amount of land as ToT. One way or another, they're going to have to develop a vertical ride system. If transformers can move you up and down without you knowing, imagine how freaked out you'd be not realising you've travelled 150ft into the air and finish with a giant drop.

blue skyish but fits the avengers theme.

I would love a hybrid dark coaster/drop tower. So you start out on a tower of stark tower or SHIELD using a SCOOP like vehicle get into the cargo elevator and all hell breaks loose where you mercilessly get dragged around left right up and down different floors to create essentially the next level version of the Tower of Terror so Disney won't theme it to GOTG as it would be reductive. It would also give fearfall fans comfort. I mean its not out of the realm of possiblity

They could use that drop track that Alton Towers uses for that one coaster and BGW Verboten uses. They could also randomized the floor sequences for reridability and so no two rides are the same especially if they make it larger than two stories.
