Musion IMO will be heavily used in F&F as well as Fallon

Is it really truly 35' deep? Oooooh, they have made some major changes since I last "looked". Perhaps another scene that replaces maintenance which will now go underground? I cannot think of another reason it would need a basement.

Maybe they will have a water section in this ride? Going to need some heavy duty pumps to keep that dry and the water they pump will have that distinctive Florida aroma so where they dump it will have to be well out of the nose of the guests.

In other words, "the ride will stink". ;)

Interesting, as to me; I place things like Musion, Projection Mapping and AR in a different field than what they use as the regular Screens used in TF, Spidey and Gringotts.

It's just funny that Test Track lends itself so well to this IP but is themed to be a computer simulator for its plot. It's like Bizzaro world.

A ride that takes place inside a computer simulation has a fast racecar ride system, and a ride that takes place in a fast street race has a simulator-type ride system. That... IS weird when I think about it.

Universal doesn't have the blessing of size, but it's also easier to theme to a warehouse/simulated world than the streets of San Francisco.

Hates it? How old is she, 35? I cannot fathom any child hating the franchise.

Universal may not have the blessing of size, but this specific plot where they're building F&F sure does. They could easily make something Test Track size there.

That's a pretty good chunk of land that's being given to F&F, though. All the more puzzling they didn't really take advantage of it considering how valuable and limited space is in the park.

Yeah, I can never fathom that age group at all. Younger teens especially. Rude little pigs from my point of view. I have a niece that I wouldn't care if she died tomorrow. And yes, that is a horrible thing to say. It is even a horrible thing to have to say.

I hated it as a child and I'm only starting to warm to it now in my late 20s and that's only because I want to go on Gringotts for the first time and be able to appreciate it.

To me the ultimate attraction for this would be a test track type ride that goes through some mixture of physical sets, musion and screens. Then goes into a high speed action sequence where a dome screen that's part of the vehicles rotates over it while synced up projectors project the action as the vehicle moves.

There's so much that could be done with that space it really would be a shame to see this be a Kong type ride. Looking at it from a positive side a good failure could be good to help push the creative team a little and remind them not to get complacent, especially right before getting into a 3rd park.

It doesn't sound like Creative are the ones who need to be pushed or are getting complacent...

Well in that case maybe this will create a "see we told you so" opportunity to push whoever need to be pushed in the right direction.

That is exactly what it will create and for great benefit to both parties.

Forgive me if I've missed it, but where does San Fran come into play for Fast and Furious? Aside from that being the previous/current section it is being input into .

Before it was officially announced, it detailed that the ride's setting would be in San Francisco. Otherwise, it hasn't been in any of the films.
