It better do some stuff really amazing. It's only 3 minutes 30 seconds long, pretty darn short.

And this is with the local kids going back to school early. I would be interested to know what the line is like for Frozen today.

I'm not sure which is more interesting. The fact that the wait for the hot new ride with low capacity is only 15 minutes or that the wait time was inflated by 55 minutes.

Epcot has seemed relatively low moderate for most of August, if you look at the TP crowd levels. Mostly 3, 4, 5 or 6 on a daily basis. January levels.WDW Disney spread out the crowds too well. :bored: Unless they have an "AMAZING" September, this quarter will be three in a row with an attendance drop.

We rode Kong twice this week. I don't care what anyone says, its AMAZING. I went in expecting it to be really bad because of this forum. But we did not have scare actors in the queue neither time. Did they take those away? Also, I can say that the "driver" you get really makes a difference. Our favorite ride was with "Jinx" as it seemed more real and we could actually understand what he was saying.

That was us. We got 3 rides in for our 3 park days. My daughter was bouncing in line when she saw the trucks go by. She spent all her spending money on Kong merch. We all loved it, and we did see a couple scare actors. One kinda slid down a wall at some women in front of us. It was great.
It's so funny you mention "Jinx" the girls I brought wanted to ride with Jinx so bad, and our last ride was JINX. They screamed out JINX as soon as he announced his name. People around them must have thought they were crazy.
Just got home tonight, and Kong is all the girls talked about.

That was what we saw Tuesday-Fri this week. It was pretty crazy, manageable, but more crowded than I have experienced before.
Thank goodness for Express Pass, and park entertainment. The guy in JP giving classes on dinosaur catching was a hoot. You may have seen him walking around with a green net, or cardboard box.

How much of the queue will Express skip, or does it follow alongside the standby line?

Considering there's only a few people here that thought it was downright bad you should've been pumped from reading this forum :)

I didn't see the scare actors for myself either but that was due to bad luck because I did hear them scaring the people in front and in back of me :(

Yes, the vast majority of reviews on the two Kong threads are very good. The few bad reviews were mostly from rides that had breakdowns or didn't include the outside portion, and those reviewers reviews are understandable due to the circumstances ...One thing I've said before is that the Kong reviews are better than Gringotts were at this stage of the game. And Gringotts is pretty much accepted as one of the three or four best attraction/rides at Universal now. Kong, like Gringotts, seems like one of those rides that will increase in popularity as people get repeat rides in.

I took a good friend last week and she now says that Kong is her favorite ride. We got Kalana and Jinks. Jinks is my personal favorite so far. Haven't seen Denham yet.
