My sister was there recently and said that while the time said 70 minutes she was on in 15.

I'm not sure which is more interesting. The fact that the wait for the hot new ride with low capacity is only 15 minutes or that the wait time was inflated by 55 minutes.

Every time I've passed Kong entrance, I see TM's manually updating the wait lines. (If anyone wants to get kicked out of the park, theres a little electrical box about belly-button high on the back of the post you could give a try)

Please don't. I had a kid lean against the one at Disaster! one time and accidentally changed the wait time to 700 minutes. LOL

ROK now is on the UO app as accepting Express. Great news for my birthday stay at RPR in September.

Good. It never seemed to go under 60 minutes last week.

Re: express. I am really curious how the load procedure is for this with express. Do they go half and half each vehicle or does express get every second or third vehicle?

Has anyone noticed that the dialogue/music when you encounter the Kong AA changed? I noticed that for Kalana and Jinx.
It seemed a bit better than last time.

The music at the end or did they add new music?

Finally got on Kong this weekend. Wait was only 50 minutes. Didn't think the story was as bad as people made it to be. I think FJ has a weaker execution of their story, even though they are very different rides. The motion base worked and I didn't notice anything off about the ride. I was very impressed. It's top 3 in the park for me. My girlfriend refused to believe that the driver was a robot and there was no track. Well done Universal. Only complaint really is it does seem short. But apparently it's about 5 minutes. I guess it means the rider is either that good or the pacing could use some work.

Nice review. The ride portion (including outside) started out as 5 minutes 50 seconds. But, it seems they lengthened the time at the first two screens since then, and the new time is coming in at apx. 6 minutes 20 seconds (stop watch timed by OU member Convoluted Frippery on pg. 587 of this thread, see time watch display ), which is actually the longest ride in either Universal park. FJ, Spider Man & Gringotts are all apx. 4 minutes. Teebin has speculated that it may seem short because, like in a good movie, the entertainment is well paced and enjoyable.

Great review

Definitely top 3 in IoA for me as well. It only drops to #4 if you include USF where Mummy would take the #3 spot. #'s 1 & 2 are FJ and Spidey respectively.

The music at the end changed. It sounded much more dramatic this time.
The script for Kalama and Jinx at the very end only changed.

We have all seen the complaints about the ending being a bit flat and abrupt. This might be part of their way of punching it up a bit. I have seen team members trying to get the applause going at the end of the ride. This was not something I had seen the first time I rode it.

I noticed team members doing this for all the rides last week. Claps are much better when they are organic and real.

They've (TM's) usually done the same with Gringott's when I've rode it.

It amused the teens I brought when they sent us out OUT on our ride on Transformers and greeted us back as victorious freedom fighters. It is easy to get jaded about the little things when you frequent the park. Forget that the silly things to us may charm the new/infrequent visitor.
