Don’t expect too much of an upgrade on Mario Kart.

That's why I haven't gotten it yet, but now that I heard they might have DLC for it in the near future I am tempted. Of course, that means, paying full price for a game I already have, just to then pay even more to get DLC lol. But it would be nice to play it again, as basically we haven't played MK8 since the WiiU moved moved into my daughter's bedroom, and of course we could play together there, but I prefer the living room.

Panic Button has been confirmed for Doom Eternal, alongside that it is being aimed to release alongside the other versions (with the caveat being that Frame Rate will be capped at 30FPS, similar to Doom and Wolfenstein II)

Ironic considering they were such a huge critic of the original release during the proceedings that gave birth to the ESRB rating system.

As another note, Undertale will be releasing Internationally for Nintendo Switch in September, as preorders have gone up for the standard edition (and Limited editions).

This behavior from Bandai makes me think that if the rumors of them making Prime 4 are true they’re really getting antsy about saying it. We get an announcement like this pretty much any time they say something it seems.

Who's to say it can just be Nintendo wanting to keep quiet about a IP that they own, being developed by an outer company? I mean hell, it took 3 years for anything of Mario + Rabbids and that was a collaboration with Nintendo and a Third Party with one of their landmark characters. Not to mention, how long they kept Smash 4's involvement of Sora with Bandai a secret; I wouldn't be thinking that it would be far fetched.

We will probably not know until we get closer to when it launches on if it'll be with Bandai, but at-least one thing is clear; that Retro seems to be out of the picture.

My daughter got some money from art she sold, and bought MK8 with it; should arrive today

Also, Rage 2 could come to Switch. I am still hoping Evil Within could be ported, that be awesome.

Still own this console for Smash, which in hindsight was a silly idea. In the meantime, I've managed to borrow two games from family members:

Odyssey was good, but not great.

BotW is stunning so far, but I could just play it on my Wii U if I really want to purchase it.

If you own both get the Switch version. Being able to take it with you anywhere makes it automatically superior.

Portable gaming's not my thing, but I see where you're coming from. I personally am thinking to just get the Wii U version because it's more likely to be cheaper than the Switch version.

They’re both still $60. Nintendo games don’t really go down in price permanently that often. I’ve seen the original Splatoon still at full price even way after Splatoon 2 was out. Occasionally there are sales though and BotW Switch can be gotten for $45 at Walmart or Amazon.

They’re both still $60. Nintendo games don’t really go down in price permanently that often. I’ve seen the original Splatoon still at full price even way after Splatoon 2 was out. Occasionally there are sales though and BotW Switch can be gotten for $45 at Walmart or Amazon.

Alright, I just mean that when they do end up going down I imagine Wii U BotW will first. I don't really consider this to be a game I want to spend upwards of 30$ though, so I can see myself waiting quite a while before officially owning the game.

The game is fully worth even the full $60. Heck, I technically payed $80 because I also got the DLC.

I just can’t afford to keep paying 60$ for games I don’t want that much. I’ll pay it for Doom Eternal, Smash Ultimate, possibly Sekiro, and Fallout 76 if it doesn’t turn out garbage.

Think about it, all games are only max ~40$ if you don’t buy any AAA that has released in the last two years. That’s how I like to look at it, anyways.

You're willing to pay 60$ for Doom Eternal, but not Breath of the Wild? I really want Doom, but Zelda is a much bigger game. Not to mention that it's one of the highest-rated video games of all time.

Yeah, I just like Doom better. The gameplay is more fun imo.

FYI, the Switch and Wii U versions are the exact same price, and both are on sale from Amazon for $45
