Give me those, Nintendo, and Berk, and I’m a happy camper. Shrek, Fantastic Beasts, Waterworld, or Classic Monsters are just icing on the cake.

Somehow I doubt we get the full land they’re getting. How big is it supposed to be anyway?

For KFP? Not that big, actually. A dark ride and a couple of flats. The main thing is that the land is indoors, which would totally fit in FL.

For Jurassic World? It’s big, but it’d fit in the new park. A dark-ride, a coaster, a show, and some restaurants. That’s it, mostly.

Beijing’s coming first, though. If anything, UOR Park 4 might get clones of Beijing’s lands/attractions.

I’m not talking about fit, I’m talking about if KFP would actually be given a full land over here.

As in things that make it easier for me to not have to fly 1/2 way round the world to see? Bring on the clones

I don’t see why not? It’s a decent-sized IP in the states, and the land really isn’t that big. It’s about on the level of Seuss Landing, with less attractions and more space. Not to mention that it could stand on its own without the IP.

A land as big as Seuss? Yeah that’s too much for KFP alone. Mix it with other DreamWorks IP like Seuss does.

For starters, Universal currently lists both the Frog Choir and the Durmstrang/Beauxbaton show as two different attractions. So the attraction count is certainly meaningless.

Next, I certainly hope this isn't still in a design phase, otherwise they aren't looking at opening this side of 2022 at this rate.

I don't think this remotely changes my view that this park lacks real creativity, a meaningful unifying theme or avoids being lazy copy and paste jobs...

But the Jurassic World and Kung Fu Panda lands are promising enough that I remain enticed, even if Orlando probably lifts one or both in the third park. The actual opening day lineup, with all my opinions on the actual content, is quite solid.

-The pterodactyl suspended coaster sounds like a good idea.
-Kung Fu Panda land again looks more and more promising. That might be the one thing that really delivers.
-Despicable me looks to lack any additional Dreamworks content, which is not surprising. The land is good.
-Converting Superhero Island to Transformers Island is still lazy, will the spinner be Bumble Bee's Storm Force?
-If they are lifting Despicable Me Minion Mayhem that is beyond mind numbing. Seriously, you are building a new dedicated land, can you anchor it with something other than an overlay of an overlay?
-I hope the theatre in Hollywood is a unique for China attraction (maybe even IP light).
-F&F, maybe it will catch on fire during construction. Maybe.

I'd imagine since they dont have the rights to either DC or Marvel there, I doubt many people would go to dark Horse Comics world... LOL

I am not sure about a clone of the entire indoor land, but I expect atleast the E Ticket and Mr. Ping's Noodle Shop. But some indoor flats wouldn't be a bad idea for Orlando.

Seuss looks bigger than it is because of the verticality. We’re already getting separate areas for Shrek and HTTYD, and KFP doesn’t fit with any of the other properties.

I would expect KFP land to be about half the size of Seuss Landing.

So, it’s not gonna be as big as it is in Beijing? I’m a little disappointed, but we only lose a flat or two in the end.

The word used when describing the pitches for the DreamWorks IP was mini-lands. So like an E, a restaurant, M&G, Shop. Maybe a flat or 2. All that would fit in Seuss from the entrance to just past CitH.

For all of the IP’s? You’d think that Shrek and Berk would get more than that.

I am under the impression that the mini-lands would work together as one World.

Hmmm. So let’s say the whole Six-Land theory is true. Nintendo, DreamWorks, and Jurassic World are (probably) locks. Fantastic Beasts is likely. What the heck goes in the other two lands? Waterworld and Classic Monsters? Illumination? Because there’s not going to be any original lands, Zelda isn’t coming, Pokémon isn’t coming. Now I’m a little curious.

Universal’s love of cloning brought us Drupercharger. They couldn’t just let the free footage and Kong ride system go to waste.

So there’s that.

You win some, you lose some. It also got me Transformers, will probably get me Secret Life of Pets, and some cool Beijing concepts that I'd never see otherwise.
