After running only one tower for a while, I saw the left tower testing with no guests today. It has the same restraint design but with no seatbelt now.

And the current restraints for reference:

I never understood the new belt system with the key to unlock them.

It was just an extra safety layer, not too dissimilar from two-factor authentication when you think about it.

To me that was more concerning. Why not use a seat belt like most B&Ms and like it did before or do they think that the failure rate is so high that it's necessary.

Weird. I edited the post and tried redoing them, are they good now?

So it appears the red part now has a center point that will go between the legs? The old system didn’t appear to have that?

Of all my trips to UOR, Dr. Doom's is, quite literally, the only thing I've never done.

Maybe it's because my local Six Flags has the same thing; except it's 325 feet on Superman vs 185 feet on Doom

It's great for views of UOR but that's about it. But we have Bistro 17 for that now.

The queue video is fun but the projector needs replacing. It's worth it to do it just to hear a cheery southern bell say "All hail Dr Doom!" at the end.

Usually I do Express, but once the line was short so I went through the stand by queue. I was surprised and quite pleased. The queue is actually very good. Better than the ride.

It's one of my favorite queues in IOA. Granted I haven't been in a while, but I remember loving that queue.

“IGNORE SAFETY WARNINGS AND SET FOR MAXIMUM EXTRACTION!” followed by whirring dentist tool noise and promptly blasted into the sky.

I thought of another word instead of “EXTRACTION!” but I’ll just keep it to myself. :bolt::X

I guess that means they're keeping it around for a while...was hoping they'd finally replace it with something else. I mean it's not bad, but it's just so generic
