The only other connection I can seem to make stemming from izombie(the comic specifically) for now is that it was published by DC comics under their Vertigo imprint division, which obviously vertigo is a famous thriller by Alfred Hitchcock. So maybe a Hitchcock mashup, It doesn’t feel right considering the ip we’re looking for is supposed to be something that universal will want to market in order to sell bogo tickets this early, but I thought I might as well throw it at the board.

Blumhouse's Truth or Dare officially released April 13, 2018, but showings began the night of April 12, 2018. Can't imagine that's the answer (at least I hope not) though.

the episode ends with a CLIFF HANGER (I don’t know how to put spoilers on here) that could lead me to suggest it could be sabrina or hellraiser or Buffy the vampire slayer. Which could lead to the body collectors returning. But I don’t think that’s gonna be the big first announcement.

To add on from my previous guess, Thomas created a romance comedy show called “Cupid”, also starring Paula Marshall from Hellraiser 3.

If they are really bringing back B&T for this year there was no point for them in even do the 27 show, besides AOV worked hard and earn their spot on the FFL stage, not saying I don't want B&T to come but it makes 2017's show a waste when all the promotion behind it was that it was the end of Bill & Ted.

27 was a goodbye show because they had no plans to bring back the show and that theater was planned to be removed. Things change, including Aiello moving to UC. I'm perfectly fine with a B&T return every 5 years sort of situation. Even then, B&T for this year isn't confirmed or finalized so it could not happen and this all is moot.

The "AOV earned the theater" talk always rubs me the wrong way. B&T poop all over the "iconic Fear Factor Live" theater because 1) it's the FLL theater 2) location doesn't matter. AOV can do a great show anywhere.

I honestly don't care much for AOV but I know many people do, and those people seem to have an inferiority complex when it comes to B&T. That whole complex is something to deal with at another time.

This is all true. I didn't want to rain on anyone's parade, but like with anything HHN it's not official till the event starts so "10 houses!" isn't really news. Now if we went back to them claiming 9... that'd be news.

The vibe I'm getting is people are trying to make their own personal HHNs in their head based on vague clues and wishes which is where we keep running into trouble.

If you read back through the discussion thread around 10/8 and the first few pages of this thread, there's talk they did. Maybe I was just lucky but 29 felt overall less crowded than 28. 28 was the only unbearably crowded year for me since I started going regularly.

They've offered the deal the past few years. It's just about maximizing attendance.
