Jurassic World VelociCoaster Construction Thread (Opening June 10)

We've been hearing the name for almost a year now. I really don't mind it, it's grown on me.

The name doesn't easily roll off the tongue. Though it's descriptive, it probably should be modified. I don't see a visitor, who's not a super coaster fan, remembering the name.

Its cool we're getting a new "icon" or "weenie" for this park. So used to all the ads with Hulk's coaster track in the background and I bet that switches over to here at some point.

It's certainly easier than Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure.

Although 5 syllables at it's shortest is a bit much.

The name also sounds horrendous spoken aloud by a Scot.

It's literally the name of the dinosaur with "coaster" instead of "raptor". Same syllables and everything. Idk how that's difficult to say

Velocicoaster = Jurrassic Park Coaster
Revenge of the Mummy = Mummy
Incredible Hulk Coaster = Hulk
Rip Ride Rockit = ???

The word “Run” fits really well with the ride too ... like when they / you run in the paddock ... run after you!

It's disappointing how this tread drops after the tophat is placed.

I LOVE that the track is straight for the big drop. I always feel that curving or twisting the track during the drop kind of ruins that classic coaster drop feeling.

I'm just happy they finally figured out how to shorten a ride name down to one word.

Looking at the support under the top hat, that's going to be a bit of a whip when changing direction just before the final brake run.
