What about metal detectors?

After the lockers I presume and still going to be used?

Not sure. Remember y'all this is the first totally newly designed queue for a coaster that requires lockers since they instituted the policy!

Is it something so radical that they couldn't have added this system into Hagrid's or Hulk?

In some of the aerial photos that bio posted last night, if you pay attention to the load building and cage to the first show building, there's some new framing steel that appears to be where you will exit... would assume that there will be some room in there for a small gift shop as well.

I think that stairwell may be for Team Members to quickly access load station from backstage areas.

That makes sense. I have assumed that this will have a separate load and unload area?

No it’ll be the same station for load/unload. Just like something like Hulk.

You are correct... I mistook the framing when I glanced at it last night. I looked again just now and I see that it is indeed for a stairwell. It's definitely not for guests. I own up when I'm wrong.

The gift shop is in the mosasaur tank...in the lagoon.

That would actually make for a really cool gift shop or restaurant/food service concept, IMO. Have a building adjacent to the lagoon that “goes underground,” and when you enter, the far wall is entirely screens for viewing the mosasaur and ambient sea life while people shop/eat.

Universal's outdoor coasters usually don't have gift shops, just on-ride photo stands. (Or music video DVD purchase kiosks in the case of that one ride. Hasta!)

Anyone else notice in Bio's pics you can actually see the envelope tester form located between the first two rows on the coaster car? In case there was any doubt why it's on the track.

How do they envelope test on a ride like this with so much rock work? is there a modified train that is self powered or can they pull it along through the spaghetti bowl?

The partial train gets winched through the layout to ensure that none of the rockwork gets too close to the riders.

Note "totally new build" and Hagrid does not REQUIRE lockers.

thanks! I knew what the envelope was for just hadn’t seen the actual process as far as how they moved the train through.

Pretty sure that the exact reason they test with this current state. They need to know that the envelope is all clear
