I know isn't that crazy! Three times and missed it each time.

Its funny, but I guess that happens to a lot of people. I was talking to someone a few months back that had just come from a Universal visit and I asked if they had ridden Spiderman (my favorite ride), and they said no. So I explained where it was and what it was like and they said "Oh, we thought it was just a show or something and walked right by."

Far as I know, the attraction is still standing in its entirety. I'm sure it would need some massive rehabbing prior to a reopen, but I'm sure the power's still on!

The Trikes have been inside the whole time, however the skins were taken off.

Yeah at times they still have the trike puppet and handler vet out in JP, but even that is rare. That has been around actually long since the encounter itself closed.

OMG. That reminds me of an article in my newspaper (Chattanooga Times) of some douchebag that reviewed Universal for "adults". First off, he didn't like T2 3-D. Then, he skipped Spider-Man because he thought it was going to be the same thing! That man did NOT deserve to write that article. I really wanted to write him a letter, informing him of how stupid he was!

JP definetley needs more animal interactions, and Trike is a perfect fit. Also, I really want to see it for the first time!

I bet the rehab has been going on all along, we just havent been aware of it... they might have found something new wrong with it after it sitting for so long, and it might not be worth bringing back. Who knows?

I don't believe it is a question of might but how soon. Perry Automation Inc. is a precision engineering firm as well as a controller systems manufacturer. I believe the 2008 contract was a test on one paddock triceratops to see if they could engineer the mechanics to be more reliable. TE was expensive to maintain because the dino's kept breaking down as they were soooooo complicated. I think UNI wanted proof that they could do what was needed before they committed to all three creatures. The fact that they put out a commencement for all three paddocks tells me has Tri #1 been moving his lil tail off for months without fail and they got the go ahead to finish up all three.

Wrong theory, but TE is coming back...if you want to see it, stay abreast of the dates...it might not be there forever ;)

My overall point was... it is coming back. Also, what part of my theory do you think is incorrect?

I make a few points in that post:

*question is not if but when
*perry automation
*2008 was a test
*2009 was an approval to move forward
*Trikes break down often as they are complicated

We are not too sure, but there is evidence to support that it could be.

So when i was at IOA tonight I happened to look through the entrance to TE and noticed that all the lights in TE were on! The electric fence lights as well as the lights lighting up the path. You could see them throughout the trees and shrubs! Is this a sign? Ill take pics Tuesday and post them.

Here are some pics I took back in March. I think these are part of the Raptor transport set:

Indeed. I worry though I think the lights are often on as they are a part of the entire system and not just a light that was turned on recently for the trail. However as often, I hope I am wrong.
