I think at this point, if they would've done Chucky for a house again (as he had a maze in '09), I think they would've done something this year, considering Child Play's 30th.

Killer Klowns though..that depends on how it's being received, IMO.

The finally happening points me that way too. Just think no advance notice is kind of a bad move for your only kid section. So if it is Kid Zone have we decided on the top rumor for replacement?

Honestly, I'm guessing more of a Universal Wonderland scenario; where it's not exactly just one IP.

At-least in that case, you don't have to limit yourself on what you want to do, and it'd help ease in the ability of just picking and choosing what IP's they want, without having to be constrained.

I feel like its Fear Factor, but that would mean Potter/MOM. That would mean a new HP/WW attraction in 2019, 2020/21 and probably in 22/23 with the new park. Bit too much?

Having said that, if it is FF, why wait til after the holidays? Its virtually empty at showtime anyway, whereas Kidszone really needs to be open for the holidays if possible.

I mean, they also were like a week away from starting Nintendo construction until they changed their minds. I don't think a 2 week refurb of Woody will mean much if the decision makers decide on something

Friend, I’m here to tell you that the parks need all the Potter they can get. 8 and 4 years later, Hogsmeade and Diagon are the busiest I’ve seen them.

I mean, didn't Amity do refurbs of it's buildings well before that area closed in 2012?

With Andy alluding to something closing in less than 90 days, I doubt that they will try to hurt the holiday's. And thankfully, they don't have to worry about Potter Celebration for them, especially with RTU being a hard ticket.

100% agree with you. Potter is a solid attendance booster, and UC always rises to the occasion with the extra boost from Warner & Rowling. This past soft four/five months should have showed Universal they can't just rely on WDW overflow. They need to generate attendance, not just sustain what they have. Potter will do that......That said, I'm only guessing, and hoping on MoM. No info from my insider friends on that.

Honestly, combining Jurassic's new coaster, whatever USF has; and Volcano Bay Expanding (if it isn't 2019) would bring an attendance increase, regardless of what there is for USF.

It'd be a large push, and would actively give people a reason to spend multiple day's at the resort, and to book for the hotels (not to mention helping for Dockside).

Not to mention, if quietly marketed as the 30th anniversary, it'd be a small chance of making a deal; and to get people away from Disney for a day or two.

Diagon was *packed* during HHN this year. That never happens. Diagon and FJ had solid 45-75 minute waits the entire weekend.

The idea that we have enough Potter just does not play out in practice.

If 2020 is FFL or KidZone, JP coaster, and VB expansion, that's a pretty dang good lineup, especially if they can follow it up in 2021 with LC or whichever of FFL/KidZone didn't happen for 2020. Not to mention Park 3 coming in 2022/23? I think the future is very bright
