When I first heard the idea months ago, I was surprised. A Quiet Place, one of the highest-grossing horror films recently, grossed $341 million for the first film and $297 million for the second. Its unique concept of near-total silence was a huge talking point, and people wanted it at HHN back in 2018.
While popular and a accessible property to the general public make sense for HHN, the quietness of A Quiet Place seemed challenging. Even Mike Aiello and John Murdy discussed in 2018 how it wasn’t designed for a maze, with Murdy joking, "You guys are going to have to be really quiet."
HOW ARE THEY GOING TO DO THIS?
Once it became more concrete that it was happening, I started getting interested and, later, excited. This is currently my most anticipated house of the year because it could be a mess or something really special. From all I’ve heard, it sounds like the teams involved are taking this house very seriously, down to casting ASL (American Sign Language) and even giving this property to breathe within a soundstage.
With the farm setting from the frist few films, I would love to get some Scarecrow vibes from in the house.
