This was pretty much the order I expected. The fire drill ride will only appeal to kids and folks that want to get super soaked. Great for a hot summer day I suppose. The dragon flyers is something we’ve seen at other parks , and is basically like a more thrilling Dumbo, and will have such a low capacity I doubt I’ll ever try it.

Not as jolting, but you feel it. There's a big drop when Umbridge escapes and another when you get hit by the Erumpent. There may be one more? All the reason I got to ride again.

How similar would you say the Erumpent scene with the animatronic is to the huge dino scene in Jurassic World Adventure in Beijing?

Not similar.

But it's not all screens.

What's your overall impression of this last scene? I've seen a range of takes from "The concern is way overblown" to "This level of work has no business in a major theme park." I guess it could be a bit of both, but what say you?

One of the few flaws of the park. I'm hoping it's just a placeholder.

You know when they eventually replace the Gypsy mannequin , people will say they prefer it when it was low budget carnival style.

If they do change it, I hope they add the original as a prop somewhere else as an Easter egg.

Since the POV that got leaked out wasn't a fully complete ride-through of Monsters Unchained...

Does Bride of Frankenstein have a scene? Invisible Man?
Is the Mummy only one singular pop-out scare like CFTBL?
What actual purpose/context do Dracula's Brides play within the ride?

He's in every scene. You just can't tell because, well, you know. Haha.

Basically. He's only in two-three scenes I believe.

The vampires (along with Dracula) are an integral part of Darkmoor, as they run the show. There's a bit more than just Victoria trying to show off she can do it.

Hmm. Sounds slightly similar to the Transylvanian village in 2004's Van Helsing

Ugh. Can we get a Darkmoor/Dark Universe graphic novel (Hardcover) at this point!?

TLDR

Darkmoor has been around for centuries. The OG Timeline of Monsters has happened. Dracula and Vamps basically hold dominion but leave the humans in peace. The well in the middle reminds them to stay in line; "You live because we let you, so behave" is more or less the quote.

Is it just Frankenstein's monster that is "better than the original" or are all the monsters, including Dracula... the Victoria created 2.0 version?

Is Victoria the true monster/villain of this backstory?

Only the Monster is "better". The others have just evolved, including Drac.

It definitely continues the hubris motif of the story, but she is not an outright villain per se

How much of this Darkmoor back story is told by the violinist storytellers? I would also love to see a tie in graphic novel for both Darkmoor and Celestial Park, much like Disney created for Galaxy’s Edge

While not an outright villain, she definitely borders on it, especially after you learn how she treats Ygor. I love they didn't hold back at all from making her at the very least morally grey.

it's not like the original dr. Frankenstein was meant to be a good dude lol. it's what makes the story such a great foil to Dracula. one is skeptical of the perils of modernization while the other is deeply fearful of humanity backsliding into "the old ways."

does the ride vehicles motion on Battle at the Ministry feel like you are on one of the actual elevators from the movies. the footage of the queue I have seen and the style of the ride system make it seem like this is not the case.
