Photo Update from today of goings on around the park.

-Sheikra 3-D was filming in the morning. Those 3-D cams are wicked!
-The safari outpost is looking great and nearing completion
-The gift shop huts in Nairobi are getting new roofs.
-The carousel is down for refurbishment has been totally stripped.

Notes from today,

-The park was busier than I though it would be first of all. When I left there was still lines of cars to get in and the main lot was 75% full.
-Sheikra was down all day, it was posted at the entrance and didn't think anything about it. Went to the entrance a few hours later and it was still closed. I asked the ride op whats up? He said it was down and he didn't think it was going to reopen today. I started peeking around and noticed that there was not one person working on the attraction. Usually if your trying to reopen your "star" attraction on a busy Sunday you would have people working on it. Hope its not a major repair needed.
-The Safari Tour station is almost complete
-Gwazi is kicking butt and I literally saw people run from the exit back to the entrance! They were also dueling all day.
-The signs for Gwazi have been painted, one is almost done, and signs regarding the attractions new trains are up.

This White Tiger

was in a pissy mood today. When I walked throught the viewing tunnel, windows where fogged up bad most of the day,

He saw me and jumped up on the window (that frickin thing was huge!) and growled, I went to the nexy window and came back and he did it again. Startled me where I couldn't get my camera up fasrt enough to take a pic. So here is the proof from the suspended bridge

He was also doing the same to most others who came by.
