i think the 3 months free promo is already back, or coming back soon, with the added january bonus benefits

I know it was there earlier as that is the promo I used to buy my AP tickets. But they did stop it at some point and it is not a deal right now. However, they may start it back up and only ended it during the holiday months. I just bought my passes super early knowing they would be a Christmas gift, but I doubt most people do that and so they probably wanted the Christmas gifts money.

Remember visiting CBBR for first time a week after opening and only one side was open.

It was first hotel that I had ever booked from concept art and still my favourite resort to visit even though has grown massively since

Cabana Bay could use some TLC but it’s such a great hotel. If it was connected to the water taxi network it would be absolutely perfect.

I'm from Philly and have walked my share of big cities and stared down drivers several times in the big city.

Not sure why but for some reason, that jaywalk from CBBR is scary AF.

Random thought of the day, owing to a PC slideshow:

This was a go-to for every stay or split-stay. It was neat when they built the towers, but they didn't add pool capacity, and that is become super obvious when trying to get a table within view of one's kid doing the lazy river. Crap, that thing is packed now! That lazy river side is way too crowded to enjoy these days.

I miss it, and yelling at clouds.

That is a good point about the towers side.

The water slide pool has so much concrete around it ... maybe add a lazy river so both sides have one?

I was just there for 5 nights. Not a single issue in our room.

Was there for a week in September - no problems.

And have also never had an issue there in 8 years

I've stayed at CBBR many times since it opened. I've never had a complaint. Great value for the money. It's at least equal, if not better, than the Disney moderate resorts I've visited.

I would always recommend stripping the beds upon arrival if it's something that concerns you, but yeah, I had no issues in September.

My wife conducts a "bed bug check" in every hotel room we stay in. Always a good idea.
