Don't think i ever ate at Orlando's before moving to the west coast. Haven't bothered to try ours here. Maybe if it was rethemed to Day of the Dead, La Llorona, El Cucuey, Monstruos... I might be enticed lol

Taco Bell Cantina is honestly such an upgrade lol.. I've been to the Hollywood Blvd location 3 times & the 7th/Flower DTLA location too many times. It'd definitely do well in Citywalk (without inflated prices), plus it has a glitzy-glamerous vibe instead of fast food.

Wait, they have a couple here in great LA? I actually didn’t know that.

EDIT: You know what would be BANGIN’ at City Walk? Tacos El Gordo. That would do GANGBUSTERS at City Walk. They have the best Al pastor in the galaxy!

Soooo... anyone know what's up? I can't imagine a new business is moving in, I feel like someone would have heard something.

Not really getting my hopes up, but it is interesting nevertheless that something is happening, even if just maintenance.

With the bubblification of Citywalk Hollywood--I have been adamant and enthusiastic that this is the time to bring back the "Nightlife" to USH.

If Howl and Infusion come back as a resultant of the enhanced security measures, then this is an absolute win.

I welcome all these changes and think they were long overdue. CityWalk has felt like a weird disjointed enigma for so long to me. The architecture feels half kitschy and dated. The stores also reflected that, with some places you recognize from your local mall and then some Hollywood Blvd adjacent style tourist trap stores. That being said for a while it worked fine, it's just high time to try to something new.

I think the nightlife scene ship has sailed at CityWalk. I don't ever really recall it being that great to begin with, but I see a more family-friendly vibe moving forward and I think that is a good thing. There are plenty of places in Los Angeles for nightlife.

If I'm in CityWalk for four to five hours between transit stops, are there any lockers large enough where I could put a duffel bag and a backpack?

If you’re staying on property, people enjoy a spot where they can grab a drink and relax that doesn’t close at 10pm

Nightlife doesn’t mean “nightclubs,” it can mean unique entertainment and lounge offerings

Even Universal’s newest Helios hotel has a nightlife offering (1am close bar)

Correct, further pushing the concept that having things to do at night for adults isn’t dead

With Universal Orlando recaptuuring that element of Nightlife/party back with the Red Coconut, and with the bubblification of the property likely requiring them to relook at what they offer in Citywalk; I would stand to think a nightlife offering as a result for resort guests would be a large win. Especially with new locations in Citywalk like Insomnia Cookies (when it inevitably opens) open till like 1AM.

It feels like a necessity that USH needs things to do for those who are going to choose to stay in the bubble.

Yes, there are lockers in one of the hallways... I think they're in the same hallway as one of the bathrooms. And some are fairly large, should fit a backpack and more.

To add--I believe it's the ones near the Hot Topic and Ben & Jerry's. Used it last year for when I was in Citywalk charging my equipment ahead of HHN.

Not that it interested me at that hour, i was kinda surprised/irked by Citywalk closing at 9pm, despite AMC having showtimes past 9pm. It seemed dumb because what if I just got out of a movie around 9pm (which i did) & wanted to grab food before leaving? (Thankfully i didnt) It seemed like a poor business decision to close early.

Of course, being a week day, the park itself closed at 6pm. So there's that.

It's very BTS heavy (BT21). I saw they had some stuff from NewJeans. I'll have to stop in there soon & see what other KPop groups are present, but definitely very BTS lol

In regards to the Line Friends store, I still need to check it out, BUT despite being very BTS heavy...

I hope they get the new line friends for the K-Rock group Xdinary Heroes. They just showed off their new "Xdinary Monsters"

Like with every line friends for groups, each member of the band has their own character. These are beyond cute. When I saw this teaser drop yesterday my wallet said "oh crap" lol

And things are already starting to stay open late as Line Friends is open until midnight on FFN and likely HHN nights. TM said 9-10pm on regular nights which is later than their Hollywood store which closes at 8pm

Okay... finally stopped into BTS Headquarters... I mean, the new Line Friends store..

Look, I love BTS & can't wait for their post military reunion & 2026 tour... BUT this is mostly a BT21 store than it is "Line Friends". It'll be interesting to see how well this store does.

With that being said, NEWJEANS had a wall unit for their Line Friends characters, but I didn’t take a pic. BUT more importantly, ZeroBaseOne had a wall unit for their "Zeroni" characters
