In a weird twist, this isn't just a Universal changing Citywalk thing. I noticed the other week that the Sketchers at Irvine Spectrum Center has also closed.

From an employee perspective, this sucks for teammembers because Sketchers was the go-to store for the non-slip black work shoes

From a guest perspective, I'm now curious if Universal plans to Purge more retail (and dining) locations not part of their ownership/brand.

Yes, it did close months ago, but with no inclination of reopening in a new location...

I just found the timing of the new location popping up & that news blip to be interesting, even if only coincidental. Sheesh.. We've already moved on from this.

Just get a pretzel & sit with the rest of us while we wait for progress on Toothsome, Production Central & now NOT-Sketchers

I didn't check it out because I'm horrible at video games, but the event lasts through Sunday, 11am to 9pm every day, if anyone wants to attend.

1) Universal Universe has opened, taking over what was the simpsons area of the Universal Shop in Citywalk
2) Toothsome is really coming along would not be surprised if it does open before 2023
3) Also next door to Voodoo Dobuts is a Universal Halloween shop, with most of the HHN merch
4) Zen Zone does seem to be closed
5) The AMC no longer has the Jupiter's Clam Ad/Decals on the Front Window

Aslo mega tron at AMC is being upgraded? all screens are missing at least as of Sunday.
