Comcast released first quarter earning statement. Of interest here is the theme park results:

"For the first quarter of 2012, revenue from the Theme Parks segment increased 5.7% to $412 million compared to $390 million in the first quarter of 2011, driven by higher per capita spending at the Orlando and Hollywood parks. First quarter operating cash flow increased 17.1% to $157 million compared to $134 million in the same period last year."

Good news! The more they make, the more they'll continue to spend.

Sign of good things to come. The first quarter is usually slow, right? The winter months (January, February, and March). I'm sure Universal is looking at a busy spring and a crowded summer.

I would prefer to think one could easily swap that statement around!

Indeed! It's amazing how one feeds the other.
