You know if they wanted to increase the ride time, they could probably get rid of all those random launches in the middle of the track and turn the launched lift into a lifthill.

For what it's worth (which is very little at this point), L.C.A Studios over in Japan has been observing the dispatch rate of test cars past the Temple facade visible from the Potter area, and has calculated a hourly capacity of 1144 an hour, which seems a bit high, but definitely clears something like 700 people per hour.

Of course, as they point, these are just calculations with available data, and we'll either just have to wait and see what actual capacity. Or we could try to make a smug point in an arbitrary argument about a different attraction by pulling data out our butt.

Yeah they're not going to be able to dispatch 4 person cars with actual real humans every 12.5 seconds, they're probably just trying to get the cars doing their designated testing time. I gave a range 700-960/hr

720/hr = 1 car every 20 secs
960/hr = 1 car every 15 secs
I think even 15 secs is pushing it to be honest

The thing is the car size is the restricting factor, I don't know why they're not in mini trains

The shortest block section within any Disney/Universal park that I can recall was Primeval Whirl at the ~18-20-sec range. So yeah, this thing will be the "most popular" at the park... even though it'll be a result of poor capacity.

Kinda like the Peter Pan fallacy... the longest wait, but definitely not the most popular attraction at MK.

Love seeing the roof lines taking shape on Das Stakehaus (or whatever name they're using):

Twin spires in scaffolding now:

Lots of trees going into the cemetery overflow queue area:

Lots of winding queue line for the Werewolf coaster:

Ive been working on the theory they will be for set pieces that double up as walls to the pathways. In my mind they would the same way the Raptor gates let you view be photo pose for VC paddocks from the path

Did the Horror Makeup Show today and they had a very small segment where they mentioned Dark Universe and also Epic Universe as a whole. Lots of applause from the crowd. Not sure if they are doing this every show now or if it was just for the one I was in but it was neat to see.

A couple of things caught my attention here re: the dark ride...
- The Frankenstein Monster is apparently positioned as the "good guy" to Dracula's "bad guy" in the ride story. It's certainly true that the Monster in the old movies (for whatever that's worth at this point!) is often misunderstood and rarely is aggressive unless on the receiving end of aggression first, but I hope they don't -- for lack of a better phrase -- "cuddly him up" too much.
- Still no mention of the Bride as being part of the ride's cast of characters. Could they really leave the only significant female Classic Monster out of the land? If so... why? And if not, where else (of significance) might she appear?
- Potentially no Invisible Man, either.

The one character omitted I believe is supposed to have a photo op in the land instead of being in the ride.

I'm not sure what The Invisible Man would really do in a fast-paced ride of this type other than potentially taunt guests as they pass... so if he ends up being a meet and greet in his iconic robe, that's fine with me.

I guess, but at the same time, the Phantom of the Opera and the Hunchback of Notre Dame are apparently in the ride, and they would seem to be about on par with the Invisible Man in terms of what they could contribute to the attraction.

Invisible Man should be everywhere in the land through special audio effects and a few moving props. Would really be memorable.
