Maybe Leaky Cauldron style, but German instead of British? Kabobs is the steaks on stakes, but I’m curious what else they will offer.

Ah didn't think about Leaky. Could see a menu comprised of Rotisserie Chicken, Sausages/Bratwurst, Schnitzel and Kebabs (like Doc Sugrue's).

with the rumour being the creature comes onto the boat, wouldn't the ride vehicle likely be much larger? However I like the concept of this attraction and would love to see this utilized at Epic Universe.

I believe it was said that would be done with sensory and pitch blackness ala Alien Encounter, but I could be misremembering.

Hoping to see Unchained have very good pacing thematically as well. RotR, Spidey and (for the most part) JWA do this tremendously well, with the tension and stakes (pun intended) constantly rising as the ride goes on. Don't play all the aces with Drac showing up immediately, build up to him being a big reveal!

After all, it's Victoria's pride in thinking she can control him and make him her tourist attraction that leads to the events of the ride happening, so how fitting and epic would it be if we first encounter the other monsters, each getting deadlier and more vicious than the last, as a buildup to seeing the count himself.

The original Van Helsing ride concept... before Forbidden Journey became a thing.

Also the teasers & info dump they dropped also stated it/showed it off. As well as pointing out that it boasts a total of 14(?) super sophisticated animatronics.

I actually do not believe that it has been said directly in any press releases or the promotional video, unless someone else can correct me. It's more of an implication of Universal themselves since they say they will have 14 of the most sophisticated animatronics ever. If that's put into a four minute ride that's roughly the size of Harry Potter, that is an advanced animatronic every 17 seconds (although there will be scenes with multiples). That said, if you exclude the ramp up at the opening and ramp down at the ending, any empty atmospheric physical sets, screen only sets, or static or less advanced figures, that is a TON of coverage in a ride, and even at a brief 8 seconds per major animatronic scene, you're probably looking at almost half the ride being focused on just those advanced animatronics.

It just seems safe to assume that screens are minimized and/or used as background dressing instead of the main focal point.

Oh no I'm fully expecting the manor to be the main queue (the leaked concept art from way back when looked absolutely beautiful and I cannot wait to see it come to life), but I'm hoping to see some chaos in the manor on the ride itself as well, rather than just catacombs.

Unlike Forbidden Journey, we can now confirm that this attraction will not contain projection screen carousel moments. Those moments on Forbidden Journey, where our ride vehicles move in sync with the screens for several sections of the ride will not be utilized on this ride at all.

Instead, it has long been rumored that this ride may feature more physical sets and animatronic figures. However, that does not mean that this ride will not feature some type of screens.

And to add, since this was written permits have in fact confirmed LED screens installed in parts of the ride, but without the dedicated screen-only segments, we will be passing by stationary screens, which is very different from the way Forbidden Journey works.

And with LED, which creates its own light, they can better mix screen media with practical elements without having to worry about it being lit dark enough for the screens to look right. Think Bourne Stuntacular with set pieces and actors in front for a screen in a way you can’t do on Gringotts in the same scene.

I’m hoping that cuts down a lot of the motion sickness that FJ elicits. It’s almost un-rideable for me at this point.
